Archie's bullets, silent as always, rip into the object of his annoyance. As it is blown to bits with a few deftly placed shots, the lighting of the environment is reflected in the cracks, bouncing off of itself with thin beams coming back out in the seconds it takes to destroy the object.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Non-Sapient Object within 20 feet no larger than a duffel bag (35 liters). You must actively and obviously use handguns to activate this Effect. Roll Dexterity + Firearms Difficulty 6.
If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
Aaron has the powers of a cat, namely the ability to come back from death...a certain number of times.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. This Effect activates whenever you reach maximum body and would die. It does not require an Action or Exertion. This Effect cannot be used unless you have lives remaining. You begin with 9 and you trigger the power through death. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you it doesn't work. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Dexterity + Athletics at Difficulty 4.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on yourself.
Dr. Freeman drives his orbitoclast into the eye socket of his patient, and, with two quick sweeping motions, severs the particular connections in the brain responsible for trauma.
This procedure is not without its risks.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you injure the target's brain, causing a Severity 3 Injury and a neurological Battle Scar. Over the course of one minute, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Your patient is required to not encounter a traumatic event (roll Trauma) for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is a sadistic grin manifesting onto Tighe's face. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
If any affected target takes or deals Damage, this Effect ends.
The Boneman whips a thumb out - ripped from her fingernail comes a chain of gilded fingerbones clinking out. They circle suspended around here head - once, twice, settling down as a thorned crown.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Roll Intellect + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
