The Goblin King waves his Bangmangi in the air, causing a mist to appear and envelop the target, who becomes sleepy, quickly falling asleep.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 30 feet. You must actively and obviously use Club to activate this Effect. Roll Perception + Occult at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target becomes drowsy for the next 30 seconds, during which time they suffer an additional -3 dice Penalty to all Actions. After this, they fall asleep for Outcome x 3 hours.
Affected targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, but may still be woken up by sudden loud noises, being jarred or splashed with water, taking damage, or similar rousing events. They will also awaken before dying of hunger, thirst, or suffocation.
When the user touches a key of some sort, an appropriate keyhole will form in the middle of their chest, right above the heart. Putting the key in and turning it will create an opaque black opening around where the keyhole was. After reaching into the opening to store or retrieve an item, the hole closes, the key turns back and will fall out.
The name only refers to the place of the stash, it's not actually part of the body. It's more of an extension of your mind, death will result in dropping all stored items at once. Time does not move inside the stash, items will leave in the *exact* condition they entered. The key used to open the stash doesn't need to be an actual key, just something whose primary purpose is opening locks, a key card for example.
Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use some sort of key to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
Bill is well practiced at reading people, and can use subtle clues from dialogue and body language to discern someone's desires, as well as whether or not their behavior is being influenced by a deal or contract they are subject to. He must be engaged in conversation with someone in order to pick up on these details, and someone paying close attention might notice him making an unusual amount of eye contact with his target.
Spend a minute to activate. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. You must continuously interact with the individual in question in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is somewhat excessive eye contact. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Any information you gather is spoken aloud or heavily implied during your conversation and made publicly available.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The Contractor clenches their left hand into a fist and makes eye contact with the victim of this gift. They then place the command into the target's mind without their knowledge. Nothing can be perceived by the target or anyone around him.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend at least one Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Communicate a command to your target. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your target will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action and a conditional request. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-endangering or self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.
You must have some means of communicating this command to your target, but no one other than you and them will understand or perceive it.
This Effect ends if you are stunned, fall asleep, go unconscious, are incapacitated, die, or if your total Penalty ever exceeds 5.
