Description

When in danger your coat or jacket can sprout crossed layers of thorns, creating a thick armor around your upper body, your head if you are wearing a hood, or anywhere the article may cover. In even greater moments of desperation, it can form a loose wall of them extending from your forearm, creating almost a tower shield of brambles.

System

You have 2 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. Passive, always in effect.

Enhancements

  • Defensive Curl (You may spend an Action or Reaction and Exert your Mind to double your Armor rating for one Round.)
  • Thorns (When you take Damage from a source which is within 5 feet, deal back as much Damage as your Armor prevented.)

Drawbacks

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - A jacket, cloak or coat that has been embedded with pieces of the thorn wall
  • Active (This Power is no longer passive. Spend an Action and Exert your Mind to activate it for one hour.)
