Hundreds of Works of Art

It's been about three weeks since the mall. I finished painting Elliot's mask today. I thought that he might've liked a Kitsune mask, since he found my little gag entertaining, but he didn't strike me as a mischevious type. No, for a heavy hitter like him, the men-yoroi mask would be most appropriate. A warrior's mask. Once it dries, I'll put the finish on it so that it shimmers and shines as much as he could have.

I'll make a space for him in my shrine, too. His spirit deserves rest. I can only imagine what harrowing experiences he went through before his demise. Maybe he and my family will find fortune in the afterlife together...

The first 100 masks have been finished. Dedicated to the victims of the creature at the mall. Since it happened in America, I thought it appropriate to make the simple, white theatre masks of the european tradition. I made their expressions between neutral and pleased peacefulness. What I will do with these boxes of masks... I'm unsure. Perhaps I will send them to the town? Maybe they could use them to help memorialize the terrible event that occurred that day.

The individual that came to me did not lie... I learned today that I can do something truly fantastic. All week, I've been randomly losing things. My tools, chunks of wood, even books. When I held things absentmindedly, I realized that they would completely vanish from existence. After accidentally doing this what must have been close to twenty times, I realized that those items weren't quite gone. My thoughts would wander to random images of the things that I lost... and when I would focus on them, I realized that I could cause them to appear in my hand again, but only as long as I had something to replace it with. Only small-ish items, too. After a little bit of organizing, I figured out how to store a whole collection of items away, while keeping them ready in my mind. Real slight-of-hand has nothing on this...

Seeking Information

I've completed the masks from the mall, finally. Gallons upon gallons of white paint, and a whole lot of drying, but eventually I finished. Good thing my nose isn't too good, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stand sleeping in a house that smells like fresh paint! I got in contact with the town, and they said that they would love to recieve my masks. They were very interested to hear about my profession as a performer... but I couldn't go into too much detail. It would be horrible if they connected me to the cult somehow. I will send the masks over soon as soon as they have been sanded and finished. Elliot's mask has found a home in my shrine, too, right next to Haru's. Perhaps they are together now in the afterlife, learning everything they can up there.

It's been three months since the Cult of Adora attacked Nagasaki. Three months since I lost my loved ones, my childhood friends, and many of my extended family. Three months since so much was stolen from me. It's time to look into them more. It's difficult... So many parts of my body are screaming to find their leader and chop them to bits... but I know that I'm unable to do something like that with my current power. No, I must learn about them from a distance, through the internet, through other methods. If I can perhaps find out how they recruit people, I might be able to find out more about their organization... and perhaps how to destroy them.

I'll need allies to do this. Many allies.
