Legacy Power: Spitting Fire

"Wait til I drop my mixtape"

A 1 Gift Pyromancy Power created by jwesley123.

Description

Jacob sits looking at at computer he has trying to rap. "YEAH YEAH my names Jacob I am no fakob, get in my and Ill" Suddenly Jacobs computer lights on fire Jacob jumps up stunned and then throws the flaming computer out the window watching it burn in the yard. "I can actually spit fire.... I am the greatest rapper ever."

System

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to create or extinguish a fire as large as A torch's flame (2 Damage per round) at a Location or on any target within 20 feet. These fires are mundane, and require fuel and oxygen to burn. Fires the size of a lighter or candle flame can be created or extinguished without Exerting your Mind.

Lighting a creature on fire deals A torch's flame (2 Damage per round), starting the round after the first. Armor reduces this damage, but is likely to be damaged or destroyed after one or two rounds. Fires may be extinguished by the target if they spend an Action and roll Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 8.

Enhancements

  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)
    • Tell - Jacob raps

Drawbacks

  • Mage (Activating this Effect requires two consecutive Actions of Concentration. It involves intricate use of the body and voice. If interrupted during activation, the Effect fails. It is obvious you are preparing to activate an Effect during casting.)
    • Activation Ritual - Jacob throws his hands up and makes fake gang signs and spits fire (raps badly)
  • Half the Equation (You may only create or extinguish fires, not both.)
    • Create or Extinguish - Create

Parameters

Fire Size: 0 ( A torch's flame (2 Damage per round) ) Range: 1 ( 20 feet )
