Description

This technique is using swords as Medium to Channel the Blazing Sanguine energy to A target Area, Which Creates a storm of Blazing Blades that cut and burn.

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, and target a Location in line of sight and within 50 feet to be the center of the blast. The area in a 20 feet radius of your target immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Next round, on your initiative, roll Brawn + Melee Difficulty 6 as a Free Action. Every creature remaining within 20 feet of the targeted Location takes Outcome + 2 damage. Armor is Fully Effective against this damage.

Enhancements

  • Deflagration (Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.)
  • Cooked Off (The blast occurs immediately instead of during the next Round. Targets inside the radius may use an appropriate Reaction at GMs discretion.)

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - Sharp Edged weapon
  • Fuel (Using this Effect consumes some material good in addition to its other costs.)
