The kid walks down the dark street illuminated by street lamps, bunching himself up to stay warm. He hears a piercing screech from afar and quickens his pace out of fear. The air feels colder and heavier. A man walks down the road in front of him, he's big, muscly as hell but the cold keeps the kid in place he can't seem to bring himself to cross the street to avoid him and with every step the air feels colder and colder and colder until it hugs him in a climax, the man smirking passes the kid, a new weight bearing on his shoulders. Days later the child sits over a corpse eating, greedily stuffing chunks into his mouth.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within arm’s reach. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Influence at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by _Ingestion of copious amounts of animal fat and oils_.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is A cold wind leaves Gullivers slightly open mouth and wraps around your body. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Amaranth's primordial physiology has evolved yet again, allowing him to leap great distance with little care for things like "A run up" and "Conservation of Energy", his body naturally accelerating beyond normal means as he bounds forward with his movement, almost seeming to blur as he does so before becoming more distinct after a few moments when he lands.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Location which is at most 1000 feet away horizontally or 200 feet away vertically. If you are using this Effect as a Reaction, you must travel at least 10 feet.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
You may activate this Effect while in free-fall, as long as your target Location is a surface on which you can land. You are immune to fall damage.
When you use this Effect as a Reaction to dodge, if you Exert your Mind to activate the Effect, you do not need to roll; your dodge is automatically successful.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Technophobe: Roll self control to trust your life to newly encountered technology and Primal Man: Roll self control to use any post BC weaponry in combat.

The cap of the syrette is popped of, exposing a needle which is stuck into the area of the injury being treated. The tube of the syrette gets pressed, injecting its contents into the body. Immediately after emptying the tube, the syrette is removed and the cap put back on as the injury begins to heal.
Expend a point of Battery and spend 1 minute to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome, unless it had Severity 4 or higher, in which case its Severity remains the same. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
The strings moves on its own and scavenges around the place finding its history and more.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target will suffer a dice penalty equal to the Outcome for the next 2 Rounds. Dice pools may be reduced all the way down to 0 by this penalty. This breaks Concentration.
All it takes is a flick of your hair and a bat of your eyelashes, and you’ve got their attention.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. All Sapient, Living targets within 50 feet who can perceive you through sight are affected. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. All affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the targets will keep their full attention focused on you for contested Outcome in Rounds. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you. If they cannot perceive you through sight for three Rounds, the Effect is broken. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or violence occurs nearby.
This does not affect the target’s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you. Fascinated targets cannot Concentrate.
The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.

This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.

The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
