Tyke has a small brown bump over his right eye and it looks like a beauty mark. In reality with the information, he has gleaned from his first two jobs for the "contract" he has been able to build a small communication device and it is beneath the "beauty mark". This chip allows me to interact, browse, type and research over a wireless connection. It uses the electrical zones of the human nervous system. (and Alien tech)

Description

The Technician has implanted themselves with a chip that allows them to interface directly with technology, even at a distance. He touches his forehead and looks at the computer/laptop/smartphone and can interface with it.

System

Spend an Action and target a device within 20 feet, no roll or Exertion required. You may now communicate with the technology whether or not it exposes an interface. Concentration must be maintained or the connection will be lost. There is almost no delay in the communications but

Enhancements

  • Long-Distance Relationship (After successfully using this Effect, you may choose to add the target to your own personal "network." You may use this Effect on any target on your network at any range. You can have up to 3 targets on your network.)
  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)

    • Tell - He is giving a long intense stare at the computer.

Drawbacks

  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Must be some form of computing device
