Description

Using a wand (a smooth, straight wooden stick), Aston inscribes a short message onto a surface. The words he writes glow with an unnatural golden sparkle. He draws a square around them and they disappear, appearing on a surface visible to an intended target a good distance away.

System

Spend a Willpower (first activation each scene is free) to send the message of [[message-complexity]] size as far as [[range]]. No roll necessary. Ritual takes three rounds and is interruptible. Requires a wand to cast. Message is readable to anyone who sees it.

Enhancements

  • Easy (This Power does not require Exertion unless you have used it in the past hour.)

Drawbacks

  • Out Loud (Your message is not private, and individuals near the target will hear or see it.)
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - Smooth, straight wooden stick
  • Mage (Activating this Effect requires two consecutive Actions of Concentration. It involves intricate use of the body and voice. If interrupted during activation, the Effect fails. It is obvious you are preparing to activate an Effect during casting.)
    • Activation Ritual - Write entire message and draw a rectangle around it
