Description
Tony's mouth always seems to get him into trouble. His voice, already quite distinctive, becomes even louder and slightly echoing, lingering in the air and ears of those listening long after he stops speaking. There isn't any noticeable or flashy change to the surroundings, but a person affected just can't seem to ignore anything that Tony has to say. And Tony himself is more than happy to talk shit and make jokes all day.
System
Exert your Mind, choose an Animate target within [[range]] that can perceive you via Hearing, and make a contested roll of Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6 vs the defender's Mind, Difficulty 6. If successful, you have the target's full attention for Outcome in rounds. They automatically fail any roll related to noticing anything other than you.
Only targets capable of perceiving you by their sense of Hearing-- if they were paying attention to you-- can be targeted. This perception of you may be transmitted. The effect ends early if the target receives an Injury or enters Combat.
This does not affect the target's opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Action while affected (including attacking), as long as that Action centers on you.
Enhancements
- Willful End (You may end this Effect before its duration has elapsed as a Free Action.)
- Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)
Drawbacks
- Tunnel Vision (While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.)
- Fan Dance (This Effect lasts as long as you maintain Concentration.)
