Description

Tori downs a vial like a shot. Cnidocytes, jellyfish stinger cells, go down her throat and she exerts her mind to have them digest quickly and come out through her skin like a nudibranch.

Feeling useless after turtling (sea turtling?) for multiple games, Tori altered her formula to be able to shoot the stinger cells out like noodle-y, fleshy tentacles from her arms. They attach to the target like taser wires, and the stingers stick as she retracts the disgusting little tendrils.

Plus 3 damage, armor is half effective.

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Dexterity + Science Difficulty 6. The target may defend by rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction.

Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Reduced to 1/2, rounded up.

Enhancements

  • Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)

Drawbacks

  • Fuel (Using this Effect consumes some material good in addition to its other costs.)
    • Fuel Unit - Small vials of a strange liquid- seawater mixed with jellyfish stinger cells
