Edgar raises a scabrous arm, blocking the oncoming axe. His hardened flesh absorbs most of the blow, however a line of steaming blood trickles down, & the blade burts into flames.
A 1 Gift Pyromancy Power created by Strazhari.
After wholly consuming a mythical dragon over weeks, the innate magic of the beast has wholly suffused Edgar's system. To say he runs a bit "Hot Blooded" than his fellow Ghouls is something of an understatement; Edgar never sweats, goes out of his way to find "Spicy" food (best left to the imagination in this case), & will even douse small flames with his mouth, in a macabre "Fire Eating" display.
While all fun & games on that end, the effect is somewhat more severe when injured. Edgar's blood holds the Dragon's Flame, & those who draw it risk combustion. While such flames are no threat to Edgar himself, there is a small risk that the flames will "turn" upon exposure to air. If this happens, his blood begins to boil, a cumulative condition that causes immense, blinding pain. While his resistance to Flames prevents this from killing him outright, his Penalty is increased by -2 per instance of Boiling Blood.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to create or extinguish a fire as large as A torch's flame (2 Damage per round) at a Location or on any target within Arm's Reach. These fires are mundane, and require fuel and oxygen to burn. Fires the size of a lighter or candle flame can be created or extinguished without Exerting your Mind.
Lighting a creature on fire deals A torch's flame (2 Damage per round), starting the round after the first. Armor reduces this damage, but is likely to be damaged or destroyed after one or two rounds. Fires may be extinguished by the target if they spend an Action and roll Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 8.
