A 2 Gift Repel Power used by Michelle Davis, created by Glutant.
Description
It starts with a feeling of unease. Michelle notices them looking, coming closer, reaching out for her. She cannot, will not go back. So she reaches closes her eyes, reaches out and Pushes them away.
System
Exert your Mind, choose an Animate target, and roll Perception + Alertness Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action, which the target can resist by rolling Body, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action. Success prevents the target from approaching within 15 feet of you for 1 Minute. A tie cuts the target's move speed in half while moving towards you within 15 feet for the same amount of time.
This Power requires continuous Concentration to maintain. You may only move at walking speed while concentrating, and any significant interruption (such as taking damage or being grappled) will break the effect.
Enhancements
- Repulsion Field (This Power now affects all targets within [[range]] of you, including those that enter the area after the initial activation.)
- Eject (Targets already within range when you activate this Effect are pushed back to the edge of the repulsion field.)
Drawbacks
- Stand Your Ground (You must remain standing in the same location while this Effect is active. Moving to a new location will interrupt your Concentration and end the Effect.)
- Once per Day (You may only use this Effect once per day.)
- Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.)
