Legacy Power: Hungry Souls

As Widow moves her hand away from her mouth, the ectoplasm spews forward. Instead of splattering to the floor, however, a metallic ringing sounds as it strikes the floor. Then the tendril snakes up, angling as if looking of prey.

A 1 Gift Extra Appendage Power created by SeedofEntropy.

Description

A long and slimy looking grey tentacle that protrudes from Widow's mouth. It has no suckers, but is tipped with a vicious looking blade.

System

Your Extra Appendage functions either as a replacement body part or a standard humanoid arm and hand. Any Battle Scars on your Extra Appendage, including its complete loss, can be healed over one Downtime.

If your Extra Appendage acts as an additional limb instead of a replacement, you do not need to re-roll to maintain a successful grapple. Instead, your previous Outcome can be reused each Round until the grapple is broken.

This Power is passive and always in effect.

Enhancements

  • Phantom Limb (Your appendage is selectively incorporeal, allowing you to reach through walls or ignore grapples on it.)
  • Synthetic (Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.)
  • Grindhouse (You may make an attack using your Extra Appendage that behaves like a particular standard weapon. E.g. you may fire bullets from it or use it as a sword.)
    • Attack's Weapon Type - dagger

  • Reach (Your appendages can reach an additional 30 feet.)

Drawbacks

  • Stumpy (Your Extra Appendage is incapable of fine object manipulation.)
  • Misshapen (You cannot be mistaken for a normal human. You cannot always use standard human clothes, equipment, vehicles, and facilities, and when you can, you suffer an increased Difficulty.)
  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Only when Harvester is active
  • Mind Of Its Own (Your appendage has its own agenda, which it will attempt to follow. You must roll Self-Control to reassert control when this occurs. If it chooses to act counter to your desires in Combat, it gets its own Action and controlling it costs your Action.)
