Description
Maddox creates a small potion using ingredients that include a mouse. It appears pink and translucent, and tastes pleasantly sweet. If a dose is taken, the consumer will take on the Curse of 86 and being to turn into a swarm of mice.
The target's flesh begins to transform into mice, coming off one or two at a time each hour. The newly formed mice scurry away, leaving behind gaping wounds. Mice crawl from the victim's orifices including the throat, and the victim vomits blood.
To stop this horrible curse, the victim must make a sacrificial "cat king" of at least 5 cats, sit in the center of it screech as a mouse with their head held high. All mice in the area screech as well, as the mouse king accepts the victim's offering and is cured.
System
Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action. The target may roll Body, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target takes a Severity 1 Injury that is not stopped by Armor. This Injury will worsen in Severity by 1 level every 1 hour. The target begins experiencing noticeable symptoms immediately. If the target is cured, the Injury remains but does not worsen.
The target or anyone who examines them may roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action to diagnose their affliction and determine how to treat it. The target may be cured by Make a sacrificial "cat king" out of at least 5 cats.
If this Injury would kill the target, they may roll a single die, Difficulty 6. If they succeed, they survive and are cured.
Enhancements
- Lethal (The roll the target makes to prevent dying to this Power is now Difficulty 8.)
Drawbacks
- Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.)

Consumable
(Instead of using this Power directly on a target, you must prepare it as a consumable material. Anyone who drinks or eats a full dose is fully affected by the Power and cannot make any resistance rolls. Prepared doses expire in 24 hours.)
