Description

Sister Mary Catherine beleif in god has manifested in the ability to rebuke those she beleives deserve it. Holy light covers her and a mere touch sends holy energy through their body

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within Arm's Reach, and roll Brawn + Culture Difficulty 6. The target may defend by rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction.

Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Reduced to 1/2, rounded up.

Enhancements

  • Beam-o-war (You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.)
  • Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)
  • Forceful Blow (If the target receives an Injury, they are knocked back 5 * Severity feet.)

Drawbacks

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
  • Slow (Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.)
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
