    Maria's Revenge Every time you fall asleep, you risk a form of sleep paralysis – you cannot move, can barely breathe, & cannot quite open your eyes – you then feel the cold flesh of Maria Villalobos-Cunningham crawl on top of you, straddling your chest. If you don't wake up in time, you will hear the “click” of a hammer pulled back, & feel the barrel of the dueling pistol pressed over your heart... Anytime you sleep on Contract or Sidegame, roll 1d10 – on a “1” you will need to roll Body (DC: 8). A success sees you waking up just in tiume – you suffer 1 Mind damage & will not be able to sleep for the next 12 hours. If you fail, you suffer a Severity 4 Injury in the form of a Sudden Heart Attack, & cannot sleep as above. On a Botch, add the number of “1s” rolled to the Severity of the Heart Attack injury.
    From Assets and Liabilities
    Jack of All Trades You are naturally capable of most things, even without any training. When making a roll which utilizes a Primary Ability that you don’t possess, you do not suffer the standard +1 Difficulty penalty, and you receive +1 dice to the roll.
    Tough You can function under intense pain. Dice penalties from pain are reduced by 2. This includes Body penalty.
    Focused You are able to remain focused despite your circumstances and surroundings. Any Mind Penalty you have is reduced by 2.
    Forgetful Your mind is a sieve, and while you can recall broad strokes, committing anything more detailed to memory is quite difficult. You must roll Mind Difficulty 6 in order to remember any details (locations, names, address, where you left something that you set down, physical descriptions of things, bits of information you were told, etc…) If you fail the roll, you may Exert your mind to remember, but if you botch the roll, you are stuck.
