Through his understanding of rituals, Niel has found a way to utilize his knowledge and summon a shadow demon. Channeling this demons power through him. He draws a ritual circle that summons a shadow behind him and he binds the target in front of him with it.
Shadows comes out from either the person shadow or anywhere at all with darkness and holds the person in place until they break free.
Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, and roll Intelligence + Occult6 to Restrict a target within 20 feet. The target may contest this by rolling Body, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action. Success fixes the target in place at their location, although they still can move their arms, use Powers, etc. Difficulty
The target may attempt to break free by making an attack against their bonds at +1 difficulty. Breaking the binding requires an amount of damage equal to double the initial Outcome. Damage from multiple attacks is cumulative and stacks linearly. Other individuals may also damage the binding by attacking it at +1 difficulty.
A contract niel made a long time ago has come back to haunt him. The being that took his wife has come back for the deal it made. It won't return his wife but it will also help him deal with others.
Dark tendrils envelopes niel as he turns into a shadow himself. His smell lingers, his body still has substance. But he is a shadow as he moves silently.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to obscure yourself. You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are obscured from Sight for 1 Minute. You cannot re-cast this Power until 1 Minute has elapsed. Entering Combat or being injured ends the effect early.
All mundane attempts to detect you via Sight fail, unless you chose vision. In that case, others must roll to detect you, and all attempts to detect you via mundane means are rolled at +2 Difficulty.
GMs should use their discretion when determining the exact effects of this Power. Standing still against a complex background may render you impossible to detect, and footprints in snow may make it easy. A chance to detect you is not guaranteed.
Niel has made another deal with his patron god. In exchange for letting the god run free as a miniature version of itself. It has to help niel during fights with this miniature self.
Niel grabs a blood vial and breaks it open, spreading blood all over the bracelet with the engraved ritual circle. The blood of himself or the enemies work as well. The blood coats it as it shines then turns bloody red. A portal opens as a tiny one eyed tentacle monster hops out.
Exert your Mind, and roll Intelligence + Occult7 as a Committed Action. If you succeed, you summon a single minion. You may have [[maximum-minions]] active at a time. The minion lasts for an hour, has dog-level intelligence, and cannot communicate back to you. Difficulty
Minions have the following stats. You have 7 times 2 points to distribute between the following:
Health levels, Movement dice, Attack dice, and alertness all of which have a maximum of 6.
Attack (difficulty 6): 6
Their attack does (successes to hit + 1) damage.
Due to a contract/deal with a lower god, Niel has 2 ritual circle drawn on his palms that when he claps together combines to make a summoning ritual for one of the gods tentacle. Due to it just being a simple ritual circle as he is still researching about it, the power is drastically weaker than it should be.
Niel is also using a bracelet charm to increase the strength of the ritual through a supporting ritual circle.
Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Intelligence + Occult6. The target may defend by rolling to dodge or parry (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction. Difficulty
Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Fully Effective.
Niel contacts his patron god to make another deal and drew a ritual circle over his heart using it as a auxiliary brain to sustain mental pressure

Today, using the knowledge i had gained from the guy, i made a deal with the Lord of the shadows. In exchange for giving him my sight after i die, I can now draw a summoning ritual and bind my enemies. Using his shadows its a pretty nice deal!
Now i know it may sound bad, but in all honesty, who needs sight when they die, i dont mind not being to see in the underworld!
The more I read though, the more insane i understand this world to be. Its rather ridiculous to be honest. Theres so many gods, so many wars, so many killings and hunts, its ridiculous! Im just a simple old man looking into rituals to revive my wife but it seems like fate has something in store for me HAHA. Man, life do really suck sometime. Oh well! Anyways, i read up something called the undead legion. I might be getting closer to finding the specific ritual to revive you here honey. I dont care how bad you look, you are the love of my life. If you want a body, ill find it for you.
In all seriousness though, im now reading more into gods and learning about them, ways to earn their favour and even some of their dark history and secret knowledge, its pretty fun especially since you know how much of a historian i am haha, its how i earned my degree and title. The work place misses you honey, your job at the library front counter brought many smiles to people... we miss you, we all do.
