Contortionist You are unusually flexible, and may squeeze through small spaces with ease. Reduce the Difficulty of any roll to escape a grapple or Dexterity roll involving flexibility by 2.
Tough You can function under intense pain. Dice penalties from pain are reduced by 2. This includes Body penalty.
Pathetic You are so pathetic, no one takes you seriously as a threat. Opponents must succeed a Difficulty 7 Mind roll in order to attack you instead of other opponents in combat. Only works if your Brawn rating is 1.
Focused You are able to remain focused despite your circumstances and surroundings. Any Mind Penalty you have is reduced by 2.
Fragile You're emotionally fragile, and very likely to be mentally and emotionally scarred by your experiences. You have four Limits, instead of the usual three.
Blind You cannot see. Any rolls which require sight fail automatically, and any actions which are made easier by sight are rolled at up to +3 Difficulty, depending on the specific action.
Nimble Fingers Your fingers are particularly long and slender. You receive a +2 dice bonus to any action that requires fine manual dexterity.

While the Ema is worn on his person, depicting the God Kuebiko, the user is able to derive blessings from the God. Gaining the blessings of the God, allows the user hightened awareness of their surrounding, able to perceive 'auras' and further enhance their sense of smell.
While the blessing is mostly innate, while it is actively being applied, the Ema shines, taking on a texture akin to gold, reflective as such. While it is not in use, the Ema simply resembles a plaque of wood, that is brownish-yellow.

  • Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 25 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.

  • When you are within 25 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.

Biography

Born in a monastery, Ryoma spent his days being taught by the monks, both the art of shaolin and disclipline. However, one day, his temple was attacked by rogue yokai, spiritual demon monsters, and they wrecked havoc on his home. Ryoma himself was hurt badly, being left blind but still with his life. He was found by a mystic, a man who trained to exorcise all malevolent spirits. To this end, the man took Ryoma under his wing, even assisting him to master his other senses to the point where they could make up for his loss of vision.
