Disorder You have a mental or emotional disorder which is chronic and hard to treat. Schizophrenia
Paranoia You have a natural distrust of everyone around you, and are always on edge looking for threats. You must roll Self Control in order to let another person remain in a position where they could easily hurt you, or to allow someone else to perform a task which is necessary to keep yourself safe. If you fail, you may Exert your Mind to overcome your fear.
Nimble Fingers Your fingers are particularly long and slender. You receive a +2 dice bonus to any action that requires fine manual dexterity.
Light Sleeper You are able to function with less sleep than most people. You need only four hours of sleep per night, and any supernatural attempts to put you to sleep are rolled at +1 Difficulty.
Daredevil You have a penchant for taking wild, unnecessary risks, and somehow manage to survive them. You get +3 dice when attempting an action that is especially risky, and may ignore a single 1 on that roll.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Biography

Norman Fisk was born in the Imperial City of Akvar, while his family was not the poorest around, they were not exactly wealthy either and both parents worked hard to provide for their Child, due to the frequent absence of his parents and their fatigue when present, caused Norman to get bored constantly and of course, he began to make trouble as children are want to do but perhaps not how Norman managed to entertain himself. At a young age Norman became fascinated with firecrackers after watching several older kids play with them and after "Acquiring" some from the distracted teenagers he tried to find out how they worked, and find out he did because while his ring finger is shorter than it should be, the resulting explosion awoke something in Norman and began an obsession that quickly escalated into filling tubes with white phosphorus and making homemade gunpowder in his kitchen at night so his parents didn't find out. He often got into trouble with his parents due to his hobby but despite possessing the self-preservation of a lemming, he is very clearly not lacking in intelligence which his parents could see and so after late-night family discussions it was decided Norman would be heading to the Militaries Demolitions branch or to some research facility somewhere developing new explosives.

After suffering through basic training in the Eukelesian Military, he was very quickly shovelled into the Demolition Corps(Nicknamed "The Madhouse") and practically breathed all things that go Boom, Bang or Whoomph for the next decade but alas, all good things eventually end and Normans Military Career ended after a few years of his mental state growing more and more paranoid, blowing up at others for perceived crimes against him, outlandish theories about superior officers and generally became more and more detached from reality while becoming more stubborn when being reasoned with. Resulting in Norman, at the Rank of Demolitions Squad Leader, was discharged from the Eukelesian Military for mental health concerns. Norman was fucking pissed to put it lightly, it was all an elaborate conspiracy against him, the doctors falsified his mental health evaluations, his superiors were liars and his subordinates were planted to spy on him, his family were clearly in on it too after they reached out in concern and not believing his delusions.

His Delusions burnt many many bridges and so he left, he packed up his things, withdrew his money and left. He wandered around a bit, going from place to place but ultimately ended up stranded in Cynamorpha, his mental state even worse after cutting himself off from his family and friends, his delusions wilder and more complex than ever before, his considerable intelligence fuelling his paranoia, his not insignificant eye for details confirming his suspicions, his unparalleled mind for explosives making him dangerous, the world is out to get Norman and he will not go quietly.
