He is 49 years old, and often appears as a gigantic-sized, bald, Khazian gargoyle w/ multiple tattoos along his back. Is commonly seen shirtless with white camo pants despite sub-zero conditions.

Grimey lives in North Star, a setting where an immortal empire burns from its own hubris.

Grimey was born and given a name he refuses to disclose in a middle-class household, his father disappeared the moment the mother was discovered pregnant, which 6 months later died in childbirth, leaving his grandfather to care for him. Upon entering 6th grade elementary, he was diagnosed as a gifted child and took an interest in biology, for which he seemingly was able to pass with little studying. The boy reportedly had excellent logical skills and was pursuing, as well as taking the necessary steps to become a doctor by the start of middle school.

That was exactly when trouble began. Grimey grew into a total nerd, fueled by his ever-growing obsession in medicine. Getting glasses, gaining weight, and ruining his posture. He was bullied intensely and often ostracized in society in all sorts of ways as an out-of-shape gargoyle, until he had enough and grew a pair to tell grandpa, to which the stoic old man responded with a slap and stern announcement that Grimey will be enrolled to a martial arts class 'for his own good', and that the old man had tolerated his interests enough that did nothing but undermine his physical potential. Despite that, training took a long time, even if the coach he received was strict and had pushed him hard. The bullying persisted and began to smoothly decrease during high school as he learned to stand up for himself.

One day during high school, a particular group of naughty school jocks had decided to dedicate extra effort on their grand ambition to make Grimey's life miserable. They discovered where he lived and that he had a grandfather. Following Grimey home, they broke into his house and played a mean little prank. Slapping and throwing pieces of food onto the old man which was wheelchair-bound and unable to move much. Grimey at this time was starting to properly learn moves from his class and in fact took extra classes. It made him tougher, though in the expense of dedicating less time and is even starting to forget the original doctor passion. As such, Grimey interfered and managed to briefly gave the bullies a good beating. Amidst the confusion of battle, some of the bullies considered the wheelchair-ridden old man an active combatant, as the man himself had also briefly attempted to defend Grimey. Punches and objects were thrown at the man, some of them unintentionally lethal to his frail aging body.

Both sides froze in shock in light of the body count turning from 0 to 1. Grimey snapped, he grabbed a kitchen knife and out of pure rage, ruthlessly dispatched the entire group. Broken and having lost the last member of his known family, he went on the run. Later tracked down and arrested by police, earning a life sentence.

By this time, the year was 1235, he was 16 years of age. Posture somewhat fixed from all the training, some muscles grown, and no longer fat. Sadly due to the bullies and his recent deeds regarding that, there was no longer any life to dedicate to. Grimey was brought into prison as a wanted murderer accused of killing 6 people. 5 of them the bullies, and unfairly enough, the other one was his grandfather. He was falsely diagnosed with volatile disposition and erratic behavior, reports of which were highly biased.

It was a rather violent prison. Meaning it had more violent bullies that Grimey in his current skillsets would have difficulty standing up to. By this point in life, having been the worse possibly most unlucky victim to bullying for years, the man no longer cared for his 'gifted' mind. It is a cruel world that will consume one, if one refuses to adapt and stand up. He shunned himself from other prisoners and dedicated an enormous amount of time training in the prison gym. Using his gifted mind to intricately learn and simulate fight scenarios and frequently applying them towards tougher inmates.

Yet, overtime it was also when he grew empathy. His old man's vulnerability were preyed upon, so were a multitude of other weaker inmates he witnessed the tougher ones harrass. If the weak cannot weather the storm, he needed to be like his grandfather and guide them. It is the best way to not only survive against cruelty, but help others in the process. He began reaching out, though mostly failed at conveying his true ideals due to the unsuitable mistrustful environment and the fact that he spend the first 6-7 years in relative isolation. Most of these efforts of befriending were done by simply coming to their aid. As weaker prisoners often get picked on in the bathrooms, with most severe cases such as rape happening there, Grimey was known to utilize the dirty unflushed toilets, throwing human shit to ward off stronger opponents. That, aside from his natural bad odor, would earn him his nickname, given by the ones he saved.

Grimey spent 22 years in jail doing the same thing of training and trying to recruit others as friends. His intense dedication and often exaggerated view in the need to physically excel, as well as his natural genetic potential as a gargoyle turned him into an absolute giant. Better still, his eyesight gradually improved, no longer needing glasses.

By the time he was 38, the Khazian civil war broke out. The prison was strategically located atop a mountain, which provided a suitable location for an airfield, vantage points, access to nearby roads and settlements, and the general advantages of having the high ground. As such, it became one of the worst hit with every side converging to capture it. Grimey used the eventual chaos to his advantage, narrowly escaping the prison alone, as all his friends unfortunately either perished or scattered.

For the next 3 years after escaping, Grimey decided the only way to survive for now is to utilize his developed physical capabilities and become a mercenary to make a living. He fought in the interest of the opposing side as well as major underground organizations, due to his criminal record with the government. He executed the job with great will and dedication. Eventually earning enough connections and reputation to take on a difficult contract all the way in Ursus under a small group of mercenaries equally as skilled.

The mission took place in Yaruysk nomadic city, concerning the pickup of a dead-drop containing high-valued foreign goods, sanctioned by an Old Guard nobleman. It ended in complete disaster, as if the enemy had completely anticipated their operation. He ended up to be one of the few survivors that scattered away. But not before suffering an injury that permanently removed his ability to speak. Isolated and lost, he escaped north, roaming the cold tundra for year after year, he grew resillient to the cold weather and even took some time to try and adapt to it through methods of gradual exposure.

Grimey roamed the nation for almost a decade. He stayed in villages, made friends here and there, but the speech-impaired man hardly abled to adapt to his new condition. It also mentally affected him, as newfound fears of vulnerabilities that may appear from this new disability led him to further isolation. He at one point tattooed his entire back filled with eagles, skulls, and other ominous imageries, thinking that it would prevent others from picking on him. The desire to help the weak was disappearing.

That was until in 1266 where his adventures brought him to sixth army territory. He stayed in a farmhouse. The residents, an elderly couple and their single grandson, were friendly and actually provided him with affection never felt before. They never judged him from appearance, and treated him like an ordinary person. His empathy grew back. As they supported his ambitions on helping the weak and had actively pursued closer bonds. He in turn taught them sign language and a variety of self-defense tactics.

After months of staying, he felt so close into having a real community for once. That was, until the elderly couple with their rather easy to obtain trust, took in a random man who claimed he had been lost in the woods. They treated him similarily to when they first met Grimey. Later that night, he woke up to a burning room with all the goods and small furnitures, including the farmstead family's heirloom nowhere to be found. That man had stolen everything and burned the house down, perhaps an excessive method to 'remove his trace'. Grimey would later find the elderly couple's corpses, who had died from asphyxiation minutes earlier. Their grandchild was barely alive and coughing as Grimey took him out of the house.

This single event only hardened his ambitions. From then on, Grimey continued his long roam in Ursus. He wanted to give this boy a brighter future, and fight for the ones that were preyed upon by the world.
