Jack of All Trades You are naturally capable of most things, even without any training. When making a roll which utilizes a Primary Ability that you don’t possess, you do not suffer the standard +1 Difficulty penalty, and you receive +1 dice to the roll.
Glass Jaw You are easily knocked out. Whenever you take an Injury that is Severity 4 or higher, or if you take any blow to your head, you pass out for the next Round. When you pass out, you drop what was in your hands, fall to the ground, cannot move, and cannot take any Actions.

Powers

Cornelius Valentine channels the divine power accumulated within his body to create a glowing pink shield which will guard his target so long as he can maintain it. The shield is capable of rapidly repairing itself, allowing it to easily withstand any weaker blows.


Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, you create a Barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome Damage. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.

You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The Barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Cornelius channels his divine energies through his hands, causing them to glow with pink light, and causes the untapped faith within his target to become activated and heal them of their wounds.


Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Your target must also Exert their Mind to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

Cornelius continuously channels his powers to heal a lingering injury, from a lasting scar to a missing limb, and if successful a shroud of pink energy encompasses the wound until it is healed.


Exert your Mind and spend an hour to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

The treated Battle Scar will heal over the course of the next week.

Cornelius has learned to channel small quantities of his divinity into his weapon of choice, a pair of brass knuckles, to deal heavy blows to his enemies in a fight. This causes a faint pink glow to appear around them.


You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Brass Knuckles.

Your attacks with Brass Knuckles deal +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Heavy Strikes: If you are attacking with a blunt weapon, if your attack causes an Injury you may choose to knock the target down and back 15 feet. Standing up is typically a Quick Action.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

You consume the coke, snorting being traditional but pouring it down your throat works too. Suddenly, your body is supercharged with the power of Florida and Crackheads, your words becoming frenzied howling and grunting, and your body becomes able to take and give a beating.

You transform into a crackhead version of yourself for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a crackhead version of yourself, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. While transformed, your Attributes are the same.

Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Bonus Damage and Brawn does not act as Armor against them.

You do not suffer wound penalties while in your Alternate Form.

You cannot speak any coherent verbal language and must resort to other means of communication.

Biography

Cornelius grew up in rural England, in Stratford-upon-Avon, about an hours drive from London. He always excelled at making friends, even if he did have a few... oddities, his natural charisma being bolstered by a knack for athletics and good grades in school, and just general excellence at anything he put his mind to, though he rarely talked to anyone about his apparent lack of a father. As Cornelius grew older he started to form his own little group, which eventually grew into his own little gang, picking fights with the more rough sorts from the big city and generally making a nuisance of themselves around town, though Cornelius himself never seemed to draw anyone's ire, still the towns golden child. All this came to a halt when one day, a portal tore open in front of him and dropped him in the middle of absolutely nowhere.
