Circumstances describe your situation.
Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.
Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Conditions describe your state of being.
Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.
Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.
Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.
Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.
All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.
You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Not that much is know about Quinn Quickfire. A certain story has made the rounds of various mercenary guilds in regards to the past of Quinn Quickfire.
It tells the tale of Quinn having been a farmer, living in a small house, with his wife and child. The family was unlucky enough to have chosen a place to live at, which turned out to be right next to the spawning location of one of the portals. A daemon crashed through the house killing the wife and gravely injuring the daughter, before being put down by Quinn. He took his daughter, jumped in his truck and drove to the closest city with a hospital as he knew, that he did not have enough time. He arrived with his barely breathing daughter just in time. He entered the hospital, covered in the blood of his daughter. The doctors were not helping them but instead lightly injured corps who had payed for premium medical care. He tried to bargain with them, he tried to force them, he begged on his knees for dear life but it was to no avail. They treated sprained ankles of corps instead of life the threatening injuries of his daughter which lead to her dying in his arms. He is said to have vowed to get revenge on the corps as a whole. Of course that is probably just a false rumor.
Her name was Laura.
