Upon his death in a mage prison, Nikki's consciousness was transferred to his Ibanez Iceman.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You are permanently transformed into this Artifact.
You can perceive your surroundings as normal, and you may control the functioning of the object you have transformed into (for example, opening your doors if you are a car).
If you are broken, you cannot take any Actions until you are repaired.
If anyone wields, equips, wears, or uses you while you are transformed, you may take physical actions using their body. Your Action comes directly before theirs in Initiative, and all rolls are made with your stats. You may opt to utilize your Action to "help" your host, allowing them to use your dice pool for their chosen Action.
You can use any Powers that do not require movement on your own. You must be wielded or equipped to use other Powers. You cannot use Artifacts or Consumables, but if you have transformed into a Legendary Artifact, you may use the other Effects attached to it.
Your passive Powers affect anyone who wields you.
When this enchanted bow is drawn, a bow of sheer ice is formed and ready to be fired. This gives infinite ammo abilities and once the arrow hit its target, it melts and leaves no trace.
This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly the same size as a bow and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +6 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.
You also gain the following effects:
a black lighter with very extravagant gold highlights along the sides of it, when flipped open has a pitch black flame. when pulled out transforms into an AR style rifle that is black with the same gold trim around it.
This Artifact can be used as a rifle. It is roughly the same size as a rifle but can be collapsed into A black and gold Lighter and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +5 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
When deployed, the artifact unfolds and begins to spin and levitate in place, animated by the spark of creation imbued in its design. Commanded via verbal, somatic, and physical signals attuned by the user, the artifact follows where they designate and automatically returns into their possession upon completion. The impossible layering of folds creates points concentrated enough to act as an armor shredding edges, leaving jagged, geometric wounds wherever they attack.
Brought to life by the care, creativity, and labor poured into each fold by its creator, this artifact requires a similar degree of attention as maintenance for its spark to remain-- similar to a fire receiving kindling for its flame. This typically means unfolding and refolding its patterns and shape, either manually or through command.
This Artifact can be used as a shuriken. It is roughly the same size as a shuriken and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +0 Weapon Damage.
This item is a living thing. When targeted, it counts as a Living Creature in addition to its other target types. If destroyed or abandoned for more than two days, it dies and becomes unusable.
You also gain the following effects:
The initial design was the most complicated part, really. Once an object has been embedded with the complex fractal knot pattern, made of otherwise ordinary electrum wire, Guy suffuses the wire with extra-dimensional energies. Getting the right energies, and getting them to stick, can take some doing. The wire then guides the magic, which responds readily to a simple flex of intent.
When called upon, space twists into a fractal knot that expands from the wire, distorting perceptions of the object and surrounding space. As if it had always been there, one object is replaced by another, and space returns to its natural state.
No complicated on-the-fly calculations necessary.
With help from a 5-hour Energy value pack, a crash course in CAD software, and a local CNC machine, Guy was able to design the first functioning prototype, a proof of concept for one of his more outlandish ideas.
Space is locally expanded in an additional dimension, an otherwise unnoticeable effect that creates a kind of pocket space, perfect for storing items. The magic is limited in its functionality, and the spatial membrane is somewhat stubborn, so withdrawing an item requires an anchor. By pulling on the desired item and anchor at the same time, the magic can cause them to switch places with minimal strain.
Spend a Quick Action.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
Whenever you withdraw an Object from your Stash, you must immediately Stash another object to replace it. You may only stash objects you are attuned to. Attuning an object requires one minute of physical contact.
Normal, black glasses that when activated shows the wearer a green radar of a 50ft area around them. If any beings are detected then it outlines them on that radar
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all Evil Entities and Living Beings within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
Even while this Effect is not active, if any Evil Entities or Living Beings come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.
The spy can do up their passport to appear as any valid form of identification.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport but can be collapsed into a wallet and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Spend a Quick Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into a chosen Object. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
When used as identification and scanned, the scanner will act appropriately and bring up appropriate generic information. Further searches for the identity in the computer will turn up no results. This will not open security doors on its own.
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
Standard issue in the Future Soldier's home time, the Personal Shield Generator (PSG) projects a protective energy barrier around the body. It absorbs damage far better than traditional armor, but its battery is quickly drained. When depleted, the PSG must spend a few seconds recharging.
When struck, the normally-invisible field of the PSG flashes, revealing a bright yellow honey-comb pattern encasing the body.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor shredding or penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots. When shredded, it returns to full potency in one hour.
Any time your Armor prevents Damage, your Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 2. Whenever it goes five Rounds without preventing any Damage, it is restored back to its full value.
Companions gawk at the sheer size and quantity of the equipment the survivalist stores in the Bug-out Bag, but when they open it, they find only a standard set of survival gear. Only when the survivalist opens it is its true capacity revealed.
This Artifact holds 5 times what it normally could inside of it. Objects stored inside are weightless.
Living things can be stored in this Artifact. They will have access to anything else inside and may attempt to break free, damaging or destroying the Artifact in the process.
If this Artifact is destroyed, things inside may get out, and it will cease to function until it is repaired.
When scanned or investigated without opening, the contents of this container appear normal and unremarkable.
If anyone other than you opens the container, it appears empty. Others can still destroy it to get at the contents.
The survivalist has depended on the Bug-out Bag for so long, they've formed a powerful bond with the pack. This bond renders the pack unbreakable, and grants the survivalist an understanding of what direction it's in at all times.
This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.
By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.
This Artifact's true owner is always aware of the direction and distance to this Artifact.
When Winter Fang's glittering string is drawn, an ice arrow crystalizes nocked and ready to fire. These ice arrows melt quickly after piercing their foes, leaving deadly wounds instead of evidence.
This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly at least twice as large as a bow and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.
You also gain the following effects:
