This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

The phone puts out only static on one end, but then quietly through its speaker comes the voice of someone you know to be deceased. David speaks as if this is just a normal work conversation, hangs up the call, and puts the phone away in his bag.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action to activate. Select a Dead target of which you have Full true name and date of birth OR phone number.

The Russo Technique

Surprisingly, asking for a helping hand from the eldritch being that's made you it's vessel isn't too hard! Frank's main method of interrogation requires a bit of negotiation with benefactor, namely feeding it via smoke break. After which, it's finally open to sharing a bit more of it's power, namely that over voiceovers and subtitles.
For about 30 seconds, his voice appears to cut between various crappy dubs, progressing through various human & inhuman languages before finally settling on the right one.
Communication is more than just you talking, it's what you hear too. To stop Frank's brain from frying itself from all of the heinous shit he's been forced to overhear day-to-day, his benefactor has begun offloading some of that stress to itself, protecting his mind.

Demon tongue
Know the language of all.
Activating this requires Liv to do a small ritual, where she channels the demon from an artifact, and draws on it's knowledge of all the languages of the world. The looks like Liv chanting a bit, and then a bit of dark energy flowing into Liv's mouth.
Liv can speak in any language, and understand all languages exposed she is exposed to. She can allow the demon to speak for her, and it will say what the person she is talking to wants to hear, soothing them.
The power relies on Liv conceptually borrowing the speech ability of demons.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must actively and obviously use An object with a demon in it (Crafted bound servant or demon themed upgrade) to activate this Effect.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.
While active and speaking to a single individual, you may choose to use glib tongue. When you do, anything you say to them (even gibberish) will be exactly what they want to hear. You gain no understanding of what that might be.

Potion of tongues
Break all language barriers
A swirling multicolored potion. On drinking the potion surrounds your tongue and shifts it to one not your own for the duration. You can the ability to converse with any around, as your tongue naturally shifts to the appropriate variant.
This potion is made by infusing the concepts of multiple languages and communication barriers into a liquid form.
It involves:
- multiple language references
- food and drink from a variety of different cultures, using different languages on the containers
- various books written in different languages
- chanting in different and swapping languages (small bits)
Use up this potion and spend an Action.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.
- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
- This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.

Death Speak
They want to speak, but their mouths are too dry.
The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
