Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome Damage. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Red lunges forward and transforms before your eyes. Bones break, muscles stretch, and fur sprouts across her form. She can either take the form of a small juvenile wolf that's pretty easy to mistake for a dog.. or a juvenile dire wolf, shoulder to shoulder with a grown man.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: False Form: Your bipedal form makes a lot of people uncomfortable, including yourself. All social rolls are made at +1 Difficulty. The Beautiful Asset is suppressed as long as you have this Battle Scar.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Easily Distracted: Roll self-control to stay on task when performing any task longer than 15 minutes.
The Justiciar concentrates, summoning the purple Abyssal flames to soothe and set wounds. Obsidian Glass covers the affected area, acting as a structural reinforcement.
The Abyssal Flame offers blessed succor to its righteous warriors, easing scars and wounds to allow for further battle, unfettered. Justiciars are adorned with the marks of the blessing to show their devotion to the never ending battle with the Evils of the world.

The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect. If used on a Battle Scar caused by an Unstabilized Injury, that Injury is Stabilized.
Healing a Battle Scar in this way leaves behind Crystaline Obsidian Patch on the target which cannot be healed.

Outside a blackened sillhoutte walks to the backseat, opens the door on his passenger's side. Now basked in moonlight the passenger see's in blurred lenses the face of his driver. Eyes darting everywhere the passenger catches glimpses of the drivers wounds, his face, the lacerations all closed harmoniously as shards big and small fall from the closing wounds glittering in the moonlight like diamonds then darkness.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
