In times where Laurence is being attacked by what he doesn't believe, Laurence's subconscious starts to attempt to defend him without clueing him in to what he is doing as not to cause strain on reality. this causes a sharp pain in Laurence's head in the moment (and then a sharper pain in the other's head if it works).
This Effect activates whenever attacked by something supernatural or completely alien to laurence. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Sapient or Creature target within 20 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma. Roll Brawn + Alertness Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target loses that much Source. Once their Source is depleted, excess Outcome is applied as Mind Damage. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target gains a new Trauma of your choice. The Trauma should be general and not specifically mention you. You should not have to be involved to trigger the Trauma.
This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
"By signing this contract, Party A agrees to take on the injury sustained by Party B, as well as all battle scars that come with it. In the case of one party being unable to sign for any reason, they may designate a Representative to sign in their place. This Representative must be publicly recognized by the party they are representing
Party A Signature: _____
Party B Signature: _____"
Upon signing the contract, purple flames begin to line the signatures on the paper. Those same flames then engulf the person losing their injuries. As the flames dissipate, so do the injuries, instead appearing on the other party.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select two Sapient targets within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless the targets have signed the contract, either through themselves or a known representative. You must actively and obviously use a contract by Phonny to activate this Effect. Your targets may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose a single instance of one of the following to transfer between your two targets:

Spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien door, container, knot, or lock within arm's reach , which is not electronic and can be no more complex than a standard key lock.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.

Alice showed me how she stays hidden all the time! She's lots better at it then I am though. That's why no one can see her! She told me a bunch mumbo jumbo about how it works, but I didn't understand anything. But I got it to work!
She said it had something to do with bending light, but everything is the wrong color when I'm doing it. She had me practice with my crossbow as a sort of focus.
She says if I practice enough I'll be as good as her!
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using Crossbow to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You and everything you are carrying is obscured in one of the following manners. You may Spend an Action to change the way in which you're concealed.
While this Effect is active, any Effect that would obscure you or your equipment specifically from other, additional senses fails automatically.
If someone discovers you, this Effect will not help you hide from them for the next minute. Activating a targeted or obvious Effect, attacking, or being Injured ends the Effect. When the Effect ends, it is disabled for one minute.
at targeted location a sprinkles of white hot iron appear which then burst into an explosion
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location no further than 25 feet from you and in your line of sight. You must use up iron powder 20 g in order to activate this Effect. The area within 10 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 10 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.

This Effect activates whenever you receive a Severity 2 or higher Injury from an attack. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by remorse for hurting such a pure soul. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
The aquamancer spends a minute soaking their wounds in at least a gallon of water. During this time, the injured area is obviously absorbing the liquid, and the flesh visibly knits back together.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must use up at least a gallon of water in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Survival at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you can see your target.
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
