It happened so fast, a single prick - painless but firm was all it took before your body started going limp and mere seconds later you found your form clattering to the floor like a sack of meat, your muscles stiff, joints locked, drool slowly trickling down the side of your cheek as you struggle to move but it's no use, all the while you hear the sound of her heels drawing ever closer one pronounced, deliberate click at at a time.
"Sometimes it's necessary to take the target out of commission, and while killing comes naturally I... It's not always applicable to the job description, thus this little concoction comes into play, it does the job just fine for the time being but still need to work out a few kinks..."

Autumn's eyes snap shut, her shaky left hand swiftly shoots towards her chest and almost feverishly clutches around the worn out but oddly elegant looking iron locket with a foggy, red gemstone in the middle - in another life the piece would have doubtlessly been stunning to witness, though now it's but a shadow of its former self, merely hinting at the beauty time mercilessly eroded.
The pendant hangs around the woman's neck on a thick, old but still rather sturdy looking metal chain, her thin hand clutches around the necklace, hard enough to turn her sharp delicate knuckles a ghostly white.
"It's the little things that so often remind us of who we truly are when we so foolishly lose our way, a cheap, seemingly meaningless gift, a kind word in the time of need - or a moment of heartfelt silence, a warm embrace when my very bones felt like ice - it can keep one sane, kept me from taking the wrong turn and ending up in a ditch like so many of the less fortunate already have."

Formed from knowledge gifted to him, Roy is able to loosen the dimensional fabric around his target.
