Ever get that tingly feeling in the back of your mind? yea.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
Your body emits deadly gamma rays, light and heat, those who make contact with your flesh will suffer radiation burns.
This Effect activates whenever someone makes contact with your flesh or something combustible makes contact with your flesh. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target within arm's reach which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.
You may start a new fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be shredded by any Damage dealt, destroying material Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
David calls out in his mind to the spirits of the realms of the dead to keep an eye on their family members for him. From within that other world, the dead find their family members in this one, and mark them with their memory.
In our world, David closes his eyes to focus for a moment, and a new sandlike tattoo appears, ingrained into the skin of his target—a tattoo that looks exactly like the ancestral spirit guarding over them.
This tattoo is very small, and often pops up in an inconspicuous place, like under the target’s pinky toe.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach.
Your target is marked with small visage of their latest diseased family ancestor as a sandlike tattoo. The mark can only be discovered with a deep medical inspection or Effect. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's direction and distance from you. This lasts for the next month, or until either the mark is removed, or you choose to end the Effect. You can have up to 3 marks active.
Hunched over, writhing in pain, you see a giant rune (+ shaped) on their back, and from it comes a lump, one that grows, and grows, and grows, and out bursts a small creature, the wound closes up shortly after
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action.
Summon a single racoon with a runic + symbol on its belly at your location. They will last until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 2 minions active at a time.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see the racoon growing and bursting out of the runic + Symbol.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: A Runic + Symbol (back).
Vita doesn’t run. She glides, scrambles, flows—sometimes it’s like a fox darting through mist, other times like a shadow slinking across a rooftop. Her movement is no longer just skill—it’s instinctive, animal. She's listened closely to her companions—feral, fey, and demonic alike—and learned how to move like they do. Now, the wind seems to follow her lead, and the ground forgets to make a sound beneath her.
When Vita moves, it’s like the world forgets to notice. Her feet barely touch the ground, and the air around her stirs in odd, brief ways—like something just passed, but left no trace. Surfaces that should creak stay silent, gravel shifts without crunching, and shadows seem to lean just slightly toward her, as if clearing the path. When danger strikes, there’s a whip-crack moment where she seems to vanish and reappear a few feet away, eyes sharp with predatory awareness.
This Gift isn't just agility—it’s a pact with everything wild and uncatchable. Vita has studied beasts that stalk without sound, demons that vanish with a blink, and fae who never trip on root or rail. Each movement is a love letter to those lessons. Her steps carry the memory of paws padded by magic and instinct. She doesn’t just dodge; she knows before the blade moves. She doesn’t just sprint; she moves like something that was never supposed to be seen. This is motion turned sacred.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Dexterity rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
Rain begins to fall from seemingly nowhere over the target with the raincoat as a haunting melody is heard around the individual. As the rain washes over the target, their scars heal and mend.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a raincoat/rainjacket to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect.
Through their faith, the priest is able to stretch bread or fish to extreme lengths, feeding a seemingly endless number of people from meager supplies.
Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use bread or a fish to activate this Effect.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, or sleep. Any attempts to age your target fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement is made at -1 Difficulty.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
The aristocrat knows a ritual that allows them to rent the best version of any item. They set $10,000 worth of cash on fire and place the item to be upgraded in the fire as well. While in the flame, the item morphs into a high-end version of itself. After a while, it reverts.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. You must use up $10,000 cash (or equivalent) in order to activate this Effect. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
Lasts the next two hours. Your target receives 3 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +3 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice.
The magician waves a handkerchief over an item, and it disappears! They may produce the object later by fluttering a scarf.
Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use a scarf, sheet, or handkerchief to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.
Exert your Mind (unless you have been recently attacked by your target) and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Alertness Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target loses that much Source. Once their Source is depleted, excess Outcome is applied as Mind Damage. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target gains a Trauma of the GM's choice.
This trauma cannot be removed by spending Experience and undergoing mundane therapy. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
By slowing the hands of one of their watches, the time-traveler may interrupt and slow a target's movement through time. The target appears to be moving in slow motion for the duration.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use a watch or clock to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target will suffer a dice penalty equal to the Outcome for the next 2 Rounds. Dice pools may be reduced all the way down to 0 by this penalty. This breaks Concentration.
You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking, reducing their Outcome by your own. Your command has no impact beyond disrupting their Action.
