Kyrie rips off the patches of flesh sewn beneath her eyes and ears to reveal a set of slits connected to her nervous system. These slits work like secondary eyes and ears that grant her additional senses, with the ones giving sight resembling a pair of monstrous eyes and the ones giving hearing resembling fleshy gills.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.
- Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.
- Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures within your line of sight.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see Kyrie ripping her skin apart like a feral animal, monstrous secondary eyes/ear slits.
- Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.
- Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.
- When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

- Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a Sentire to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
- Touch: You can pick up on subtle differences between textures with ease, and can immediately find what you are looking for when rummaging (digging through trash, finding a needle in a haystack, etc), assuming it is actually present.
Predator/Prey
The beastmaster closes their eyes and channels nature's bloody struggle for survival. When their eyes reopen, they catch the light and glow red like a dog's. While in this heightened state, they may triangulate the tiniest sounds or smells.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.
- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Kaleidoscopic Sea

By metaphysically embodying their grief and sorrow for such cumulatively long stretches of time, the gift user had gained a greater understanding of the world around them which they cannot 'unsee' even in their normal form. The flow and the inertness, the liquidity and the malleability, the energy and the static of their surroundings are all felt keenly by them at all times. It is, in equal parts, humbling and enlightening.
The gift user does not exhibit any visual cues with regards to this Effect.

- Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 50 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
- Hydroreception: You may detect liquids, aquatic currents, and even circulatory activity in a 50 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting circulatory activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
- When you are within 50 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.
Perceive Disease
When the doctor concentrates, his senses become so keen that he can sniff out cancer and bacteria, as well as see microscopic organisms without the need for a microscope.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Sight: You can see things that are normally invisible to the naked eye, such as fingerprints and bacteria.
Any heightened senses require you to maintain Concentration to use, and do not apply to any passive Perception checks.
- Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.
Mechanic's Ear
"That thing just don't sound right."
Even before the Contracts, Mike could hear a worn CV axle before the boot was even torn (and at 100 yards, so he claims). Now that he is imbued, his senses have picked up to literal superhuman levels, allowing him to hear engine problems and ambushers as either tries to sneak up.

- Hearing: You may hear sounds of sub- and hyper-sonic frequencies, allowing you to hear tiny things (mice, insects, etc) better, and pick up on the vibrations of massive things (earthquakes, atmospheric disruptions, etc) long before others.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.
