(Both the source of the effect, as well as the danger zone it creates, are obvious to observers. You must actively and obviously be using Wizgit's wand.)

Brandishing the wand and shouting an incantation, it begins to violently emit sparks in every direction before erupting in a technicolor fireball. In the event of the activation failing, the wand functions like a rainbow sparkler for the next hour.


Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Wizgit's wand to activate this Effect. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour. The area within 25 feet of you immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Brawn + Performance at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).

If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of you with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. If you botched the activation roll, you will also take full Damage from the blast, otherwise it will not hurt you.

  • If this Effect fails due to the Unreliable check, you must still pay any associated activation costs.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Community Blast Gifts

Spend an Action and use up this bomb. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply. Anyone hit by the blast may roll Body at Difficulty 7 as a Free Action, and reduce their Damage taken by the Outcome.

Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.

If you successfully hit a target with this Effect, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. This penalty lasts until the armor is repaired.

Exert your Mind (unless Few feet in the air) and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location no further than 50 feet from you and in your line of sight. This Effect cannot be used unless Ethereal Wing on. You must actively and obviously use Bow to activate this Effect. The area within 20 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Dexterity + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).

If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 20 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 1. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

Anyone who takes damage from the blast is knocked back away from the target location by a distance equal to the radius. They must succeed a Body roll, Difficulty 9, or be stunned for 1 round.
