Afflicted by an ancient, Atlantean curse, Grace leverages her newfound instincts to improve her already extraordinary detective skills. Whenever she focuses on these abilities, the color in her eyes shimmer and shift like a moving tidal wave.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your piercing, ocean-blue eyes.

Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
  • Saw it Coming: Any time you make a Desperate Defense, you successfully avoid the incoming Attack without making a roll.You do not suffer a dice penalty next Round. You may use Source to make a Desperate Defense.
  • Sherlock: You may Exert your Mind to deduce the originating chain of events that led to a particular detail of an individual or environment. This Effect reveals information that is not discoverable by a mundane investigation. You may not use this Effect on the same target more than once in a 24 hour period.
  • Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

  • You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
  • Sherlock: The amount of information received is limited at the GM's discretion but should at least contain some information that would not be learned from a mundane investigation.
  • If your piercing, ocean-blue eyes is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

  • Gut Feeling: You may roll Perception + Alertness Difficulty 7 to detect when someone is watching you remotely, even through supernatural means. Requires Outcome 4 or higher.
  • Slow Time: You may substitute your Perception as the Attribute for any rolls made for Reactions.

  • If your Her Blue Eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
