The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

Blood is everywhere, in everything. My nose feels like it’s stretched too far, twitching at every whiff like I’m some kind of animal. My face feels different—leaner, sharper—my ears are pointed now, and I can hear things I don’t want to. I’m a vampire, sure, but this? This is something else entirely.
You gain the following benefits at all times.

- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.

Vampiric Senses
“People smell differently now.”
When he isn’t oppressed by the sun and can access his full senses he can now see in the dark and now hear now. He isn’t sure of why these changes are slowly happening to him though he is sure he will keep his morals even as his body changes.
You gain the following benefits as long as must have drank blood in the last 10 hours and Must not be in direct sunlight.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.
Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses. If one of these senses does become suppressed, you may Exert your Mind to end the effect.
- Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.
Predator/Prey
The beastmaster closes their eyes and channels nature's bloody struggle for survival. When their eyes reopen, they catch the light and glow red like a dog's. While in this heightened state, they may triangulate the tiniest sounds or smells.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.
- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Hunter Sense's
I see, I stalk, I hunt
Abbas, using goggles to shield his eyes from the glare of the environment and has the goggles act akin to animals eyes and he stares into it.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using Goggles to gain the benefits of this Effect.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 50 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
- Sight: You can see things that are up to a mile away as though you were only standing twenty feet away, provided your view is unobstructed.
- When you are within 50 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.
Golden Touch
The runes shine and shimmer, the golden energy imbues the soul as it turns bits and parts into such a sinisterly made material, it shines like gold, yet is worthless, and it lingers on the body until ways to remove it are in place, or it is allowed to fade away for a month.
Spend an Action. Select a Living or Animate target within 45 feet. Roll Perception + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
- A Minor Battle Scar E.g. an aesthetic-only body modification (a disfigured face, a pig's tail), impacted hand or foot, or vocal changes that complicate communication
- A Major Battle Scar E.g. a disabled/removed hand or foot, an inability to speak, an impacted major sense, removal of a minor sense, impacted movement.
- A Severe Battle Scar E.g. a disabled/removed arm or leg, deafness, aesthetic changes that are nearly impossible to conceal.
- An Extreme Battle Scar E.g. removal/disabling both hands or both legs, blindness, a full-body deformation that leaves the target humanoid but makes it difficult to use clothes, vehicles, and equipment designed for humans.
You may affect up to 3 targets within range.
If two or more of your targets are touching and more than one fails to resist, you may conjoin them where they touch. This counts as a shared Battle Scar.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 1.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their body and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Battle Scar: Missing finger and Missing finger. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
- While merged, the targets share a Movement and move at the speed of the slowest of the group. All physical Actions they take are +Contested Outcome Difficulty (lowest of the group). If one dies while merged or if forcefully separated, the others take an Injury equal to the lowest Contested Outcome + 2.
- Remember: A Contractor’s Body rating is reduced by 1 for each Battle Scar after their fourth.
- You may opt to inflict a Battle Scar that is less severe than what your Outcome allows.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

- Sight: You can see things that are normally invisible to the naked eye, such as fingerprints and bacteria.
- Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.
Wolf's Nose

Even in human form, the werewolf retains their incredible sense of smell. This helps them track their prey and learn where people and things have been.
