While active and speaking to a single individual, you may choose to use glib tongue. When you do, anything you say to them (even gibberish) will be exactly what they want to hear. You gain no understanding of what that might be.

Whenever you encounter a Language you could commune in with this Effect, you immediately understand which language it is, the dialect, region, and other details about it.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you lose the ability to speak english, or any langauge, for the next hour. (you can only make blubbing and bubble sounds). You must use up A galleon of water in order to activate this Effect.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

The effects of Causal Diction on a passive level can be used to help the user communicate with other beings on a level of mutual understanding. It is less through words themselves and more through emotion that a connection is made. The user becomes more in tune with the fundamental cause and effect of the universe.
