You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Instant Karma: If you successfully resist an Effect with your Mind, you may reflect it back to another target as though you had cast it.
- Reveal Yourself To Me: If you succeed on a Mind resistance roll, you understand who was targeting you and what the intended effect was.
- When reflecting an Effect, its Activation Outcome is equal to your resistance Outcome. If you reflect it back at the target who cast it originally, they do not receive a resistance roll.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Compartmentalizing: You can take a maximum of 1 Mind Damage per Round.
- Reveal Yourself To Me: If you succeed on a Mind resistance roll, you understand who was targeting you and what the intended effect was.
- If you have an Effect that allows you to Exert your Mind more than once per Round, each Exertion still causes one Mind Damage.
- These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.
Thinking Cap
When wearing a suitable hat, the wizard is able to channel his mana into a mental faraday cage.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a cone shaped hat with stars and moons to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:

Hardened Systems

A mix between software and hardware combine to make Zeta an unstoppable force on the battle field. Those that try to enter Zeta's mind are swept away in the speed of thought of a mind ran on light speed and malice rather than much slower chemical processes. Damage done is quickly patched back into working order.
You gain the following benefits at all times.

- If you have an Effect that allows you to Exert your Mind more than once per Round, each Exertion still causes one Mind Damage.

Iron Resolve

Grognar's eyes are steely, a faint, pulsating aura encircling his helm. When his mind shield activates, the helmet subtly glows, amplifying an aura of impenetrable mental fortitude.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +2 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
- Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.
- Naturally Resistant: Any time you make a Mind resistance roll, the individual who you are resisting must Exert their Mind, or your resistance succeeds automatically.
- All Brain No Brawn: You suffer a -2 dice penalty on Body resistance rolls.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Disfigured.

Pascal protects moonstone from metal attacks and effects. This looks like Moonstone grimacing through the pain, while on the psychic level Pascal wraps himself around her mind.
Pascal, Moonstone's source of power, and also a delusion of a floating stuffed animal gives Moonstone power, and protects her mind from negative effects.
You gain the following benefits as long as Is in the Moonstone form.

- Clash Of Wills: If you fail to fully resist an Effect, your Outcome is considered to be 0.
