The power to temporarily manifest an extra appendage.
Used by August Alan Porter, Created by PerrottatTheOne.
(Anyone who witnesses you activate this Effect or for its duration is very likely to be disturbed to see an inky tentacle that seems to burst from the afflicted's chest, appearing to puncture the skin and causing the sound of splintering bones when summoned.. This Effect has no explicit visibility requirement.)

A thick, black tentacle that seems to live hidden within the afflicted's chest, bursting forth when summoned and slowly coiling up once it is no longer needed, sealing the grievous room behind it in thickened scar tissue, which at all times feels clammy and dead to the touch.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand. Lasts two hours.

Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.

Your appendage is capable of bending and squishing in normally-impossible ways. It may fit through any gap that is not water-tight and retain its functionality.

Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.

Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see an inky tentacle that seems to burst from the afflicted's chest, appearing to puncture the skin and causing the sound of splintering bones when summoned..

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Horribly Disfigured - Your chest is concaved due to an interdimensional voyage gone wrong! (Any damage dealt towards your soft spot will deal an additional 2 damage. If an attack could feasibly hit your soft spot, flip a coin. On a fail, it hits your soft spot).

  • You may stretch or retract your limbs once per Round on your Initiative.
  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

Oz didn’t learn this from a wizard’s tome or a back-alley occultist. He learned it from a creature that most would’ve overlooked—a frail, withered thing, ancient beyond comprehension but hollowed out by time. It wasn’t terrifying when Oz found it. It was hiding. Hunted by a third-rate monster hunter with more bravado than brains.

The thing could barely stand. Its claws were chipped, its eyes sunken and dull. But when Oz saw the hunter raise their weapon, something in him rebelled. Maybe it was pity. Maybe curiosity. Maybe a whisper of something older.

In gratitude, the creature offered him a secret—a technique older than most names, passed down not to preserve power, but to be rid of it. A method born in the Fifth Circle of Hell, back when Wrath still had shape and weight.

The technique hinges on equivalence: a tiny, forgotten thing—a piece of ash—can be traded, momentarily, for something vast and wrathful and real. The ash is a symbol. Burned, spent, weightless. Exactly the opposite of what it summons. That’s the balance. That’s the key.

The wall doesn't scream, but it wants to.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. You must actively and obviously use Cigarrettes to activate this Effect.

Select one of the following alterations to create out of Human flesh, skin and faces, dense as a wall of concrete. originating at the target:

  • Wall: Create a straight wall made of Human flesh, skin and faces, dense as a wall of concrete. up to 40 feet long, 10 feet high, and 12 inches thick. This wall can also be used to create a bridge, ramp, or similar. It must be free-standing.

The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.

This alteration lasts three hours but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see a literal wall of corpses and suffering souls..

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
  • Attempting to break any alterations with inappropriate tools may damage or destroy the tools at the GM's discretion.
  • Any structures you create leave precise gaps for obstacles in their path or push them out of the way. You cannot directly destroy objects or structures or damage beings by creating walls or domes.
  • Tool guidance for GMs:
    • Difficulty 9: Brawn 5, no tools.
    • Difficulty 7-8: One-handed tools or makeshift tools (like a sword). Mythic Brawn without tools.
    • Difficulty 6: Appropriate manual tools. Crowbar, sledgehammer, armor-shredding attacks.
    • Difficulty 4-5: Power tools, vehicles, explosives.
  • This Effect produces the substance you are controlling unless it is drawn from the environment via “Required Environment” Drawbacks.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Over the course of one Downtime, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6.

Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.

Your patient is required to Must listen to his K-Pop music 24/7 (atleast -1/-2 dice to perception checks hearing based) for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.

Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize the Mind of a target within arm's reach. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.

  • The patient is aware of this requirement.
  • The treatment time may be broken up into multiple sessions if necessary.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Spend a Quick Action.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are grappled, or otherwise controlled by you. You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to stash items in others' possession, but they automatically notice that you stole the item.

You may store mining equipment in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 1 things at a time.

You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.

  • "Equip" refers to drawing a gun, putting on a piece of armor, etc.
  • Containers which hold multiple things may count as a single item so long as the things within are generally packaged together. For instance, you may stash a clip full of bullets, a medical kit full of medical supplies, or a box of crackers, but you cannot stash a backpack full of miscellaneous equipment.
  • You may only attempt to store Objects which are free-standing and disconnected from other things. The use of this Effect will not allow you to sever any connections holding an Object in place.
  • The Maximum Object Size parameter is intended to roughly capture the weight / size restriction of items and isn’t intended to restrict shape. GM discretion is advised. A human being is level 4 in the Maximum Object Size parameter.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within arm's reach. This trap lasts one hour or until triggered or disarmed. Roll Brawn + Melee Difficulty 6.

The trap looks like Gene putting up his arms. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.

Any target that enters the chosen region will trigger the trap. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2. Armor is fully effective against this Damage.

The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.

If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.

  • Anyone who witnesses you place the trap learns about this type of trap and can avoid it at will.
  • Multiple traps cannot be placed in the exact same location or be triggered by the same single Action. Nor can one trap triggering cause another to trigger.
  • Trap can only be spotted by someone who has witnessed this particular trap before, has been informed, or possesses relevant supernatural abilities. They must achieve an Outcome of 4 or higher on a Perception + Alertness roll to do so.
  • The area you choose where the trap can be triggered may be just a single location, similar to a tripwire or a pressure plate, or it can be a proximity trigger which hits anyone who comes within the specified range of the trap. This is defined by you when you place the trap and cannot be changed once the trap is placed.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You transform into Esmerelda for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Esmerelda, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Charisma is increased by 1. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: Witch Outfit

You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see The transformation starts with the user dissolving into a pile of group. Then, the outline of a Nervous System is etched onto the liquid. Then, the goop begins to stand as it extends what would be it's arms out. Bones form into the liquid and skin covers the bones. The head of the body forms, albeit some details are missed, such as the ears, instead only having holes at the side of the face. The transformation ends when a loud heartbeat is heard. All other contractors and people nearby (in a 30ft radius) will be able to hear this...

You may only use this Effect once per day.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

When a target is destroyed, it sends shards flying. Anyone within 5 feet of the object rolls 4d10 at Difficulty 6 and takes damage equal to the Outcome. Can be reacted to.
