(This Effect may or may not be obviously Alien. It is clear that you are communicating with the target. )

The language or non language of the target verbally impacts the user and their exuding aura coalesces to form an understanding bond that can then be projected back to the target. "Sergeres spoke to the rain as Rangi danced all around him...and the rain spoke back."

The effects of Causal Diction on a passive level can be used to help the user communicate with other beings on a level of mutual understanding. It is less through words themselves and more through emotion that a connection is made. The user becomes more in tune with the fundamental cause and effect of the universe. Which in turn allows them a unique insight into the inner machinations of animate and non-sapient beings.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are communicating to them with Send Message.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.

Somm utilizes a Taoist technique in which one's ancestor can be contacted through the usage of their descendant as a conduit / tie to the modern world of the living: however this requires that one is able to play a summoning / heralding "Call" for them, which is satisfied by the focus of this power. The actual technique which this is, is referred to as Mun Mai.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Sapient being, human, or Dead target within arm's reach. In order to target the Dead, you must have the presence of one of their loved ones. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is dead, or similarly a phantasmal entity or occult being that can be described as dead or "spiritual". You must actively and obviously use Chinese Instruments to activate this Effect.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: May not harm a dog or dog like creature without a self control roll.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient being, human, or Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession. This Effect cannot be used unless Alternate Form.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their the presense of a loved one.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is that her tongue sparks a with dark purple. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
