OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

As the essence of a being that has been around longer than communication itself, there's a instinctual understanding of language bound up in the energy of the collar.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.
- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
- When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.
Tounges
Tapping into the power of the underworld, Tyrion is able to understand and communicate with people as if he was born to their native tongues.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.
- When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their object of attachment. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you get possessed by the restless dead.

Glossolalia

The psychic power to speak any language spoken by Man, to read any language can be summoned by a latent psychic, tuning into the psychic emanations radiating from the speaker or from the written material. Typically Xander's eyes roll up white for a moment when this ability manifests, accompanied by psychic emanations - typically in the form of vibrating glass, ringing in the ears, or an ache in the teeth.
While this effect is intentional, it always has the low level effect of conveying the dialect, region, & similar of any speaker Xander encounters. Xander currently requires a Tuning Fork to properly attune to the vibrations..
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use A Tuning Fork to activate this Effect.
You may understand and communicate to humans as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.
This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.
Whenever you encounter a Language you could commune in with this Effect, you immediately understand which language it is, the dialect, region, and other details about it.

Beastlish

The beastmaster can speak to and understand any animal.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
