Price pulls out her loupe, old tarnished silver framing a wide lens, and intently examines minute features and faint energies.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a target Object within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a loupe to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.
the person becomes slightly transparent as ark places his hand on them and says "you have my blessings"
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within arm's reach.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, sleep, or air. Any attempts to age your target fail.
Anyone will tell you, the mind is the master of healing. Essentially, he convinces them they are fine and their own body makes it so- releasing hormones and things that accellerate the healing process.
He gives the target a heated pep talk, grabbing, dragging, or crying loudly while shaking them encouragingly and desperately. "You can't leave me like! You can beat this I know it! We're a team!"
He can do the same thing to himself, looking at his reflection or talking to himself heatedly. Its an intense pep talk nonetheless, sometimes involving slapping himself in the face or pouring water on himself, etc.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. Your patient is required to "Cannot abandon anyone who has not harmed you directly in a dangerous situation" for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is He physically grabs them and gives them a heated pep talk.. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Jeremy concentrates an especially large amount of will into a single, large rippling bubble, which he then lobs at his target, where it explodes in a burst of extreme force.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location no further than 50 feet from you and in your line of sight. You must actively and obviously use Bubble Wand to activate this Effect. The area within 20 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 20 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 2. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Whenever Music Blaster is used, a ghostly series of applause will follow after the Music Blaster before fading away as fast as the music simmers down.
Spend an Action. Select a target within 50 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2.
You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.
You may opt to have this Effect spread to all targets within 5 feet of the initial target, then to all unaffected targets within 5 feet of them, and so on, jumping a maximum of 5 times. No target may be hit more than once. You cannot hit yourself.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the music blasted makes sounds that sound like the incoherent screams from the ninth layer of hell to anyone besides Pearto.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Nightmares.
Speed1nner_2 presses himself repeatedly into the applicable surface with his center of mass as well as his limbs in different angles and patterns while making a great deal of noise -- parts of him sometimes clip into the surface.
Locks are pathways designed to eventually be opened. One of the most efficient methods of saving time is finding a way to bypass these boundaries and restrictions -- the simplest being a 'lock'.
Spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Thorough, repeated jamming of the limbs and body into applicable surface at varying complex angles, accompanied by decrees of 'first try' and loud expletives. Select a Non-Alien door, container, knot, or lock within arm's reach. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
The mutant has gained some control over their genetic instability, allowing them to trigger a mutation at will. When the need arises, their flesh warps and twists, and a new mutation manifests that is suited to whatever obstacle the mutant happens to be facing at the time.
Spend 30 minutes. You may only target yourself. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
The magician places a mirror to reflect a subject and conjures an illusion that perfectly replicates it!
If the illusion is touched, it shatters into a thousand tiny shards of glass.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: place a mirror such that it reflects the subject of your illusion. Select a target within 45 feet. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
a reflection of something else in the area, which can be no larger than a person is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You may create a replica of a specific being or Object, though it is still limited by what you do or do not know about the subject.
Anyone who touches the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion, and the entire effect will be ended for all targets.
The illusion will remain fixed to its initial target, and can only change locations if the initial target is mobile in some way. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.
The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
The Doctor examines their patient and gives a standard medical checkup, asking them questions, nodding to themselves, and muttering arcane medical jargon. The examination reveals an extraordinary amount of detail about any medical issues suffered by the patient.
Spend one minute. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within arm's reach. You must actively converse with the individual in question for one minute in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may Resist.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.
The spy is able to transform an ordinary ballpoint pen into a monitoring device that is inconspicuous enough to blend in to most settings, but advanced enough to allow 360 degree surveillance as well as audio capture, which is sent to their smartphone.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within 10 feet. You must actively and obviously use a ballpoint pen to activate this Effect.
You place a ward, which is fixed to its initial location. You can hear and see through the ward as though you were standing at its location. Your wards last 3 hours. You may have at most 3 wards active at once.
The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. It can be detected with a roll and destroyed through mundane means.
