This Artifact allows you to change your appearance.

On Legendary Artifact Ring of Ink.
( When activating this Effect, you are obviously changing your appearance. You must obviously use this Artifact to activate this Effect. When activating this Effect, this Artifact is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

Originating from the ring, a black gooey substance seems to spread across the user's body, enveloping it before slowly taking shape into the the body of a tall inhuman deity, their "skin" white as paper and long inky black hair that drips down to the floor, leaving a black trail behind them. (If the user succeeds the beauty roll, they come across as kind and welcoming, whereas if they fail they seem uncanny and off-putting.)

Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions.

Your appearance changes to Unnamed Deity. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.

You are only able to shift into the one predefined appearance. This new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. You may add inhuman features to your disguise. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.

You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.

Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Possession (They experience a second voice in their head belonging to an unnamed deity that takes control when the artifact is used it is used). If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.

  • While you may alter your outfit's appearance, this does not grant or store equipment. This does not allow you to change the appearance of Artifacts or conceal their Alien appearance.
  • While you can add inhuman features, they are aesthetic only. Think star trek alien, monstergirl, demon, etc. Does not grant things such as a prehensile tail, an extra damaging brawl attack, improved senses, etc.
  • ‘Appearance’ includes voice, bone structure, skin quality, hair length and color, eye color, muscle tone, flesh texture, and generally anything perceivable about your body.

Use up this makeup compact and spend a minute.

You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.

The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You cannot alter your clothes. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.

  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.

Using an app connected to his phone, he would start to edit himself via a picture of himself before selecting the 'apply' option. which sends a signal to his 'Heart' which starts to glow slightly before a small shimmer around his body as he appear as someone else.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the fae magic violently warping and shifting the skin of the wielder to adapt to another look.

This Effect ends if you take an Injury or are stunned or incapacitated.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
