with the scrach of the pen a Dragons' breath, Wolf's fangs, insects sting, and a Roc's talons. A thousand tales and a thousand ways for monsters to kill you. Ink can take a thousand forms and meny bring about death.
Exert your Mind (unless within melee range of an illusory monster) and spend an Action. Select a target within 300 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless A illusion must be in range of target. Roll Charisma + Occult Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

Len holds her scythe and rubs a finger along it. Mist swirls around and over it, and over the body on the brink of death before her.
Spectral hands reach out from the ground and take hold of the figure, then start ripping at them, pulling spectral bits of their body into the ground.
Mist swirls around Len's injuries, and her flesh and mind are rejuvenated.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless One Target is incapacitated by injuries, and killed by the use of this power. You must actively and obviously use Scythe firearm to activate this Effect. Your target may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose one each of as many things as you like from the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Spectral hands reach up from the ground taking the offered target tearing at them, and killing them.
Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.
People always keep whining and complaining and crying over their injuries. "My leg!" "I can't feel my hands!" "My fingers, oh God!"
Get a grip! Jeez...
I've been thinking of uh just... I give em the typical assurances, and then I... tell em! Spout out some medical jargon and tell em that it'll heal in just a sec! Looking em in the eye makes them wanna believe me... almost.
And it does! Injuries seem to have never happened in the first place! One moment it was broken, the next... poof! Like magic. Was your arm even broken in the first place? I mean... it seems to work; you can feel your limbs working, you can stretch your fingers normally. It feels fine... but something feels off.
Don't let the doubt fester. Don't lie, yourself. Honesty is the best policy, and it's easier to believe in a lie when you trust what you say to be true. Otherwise, the illusion will shatter.
Uhhh we gaslight reality itself, basically.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You cannot target yourself. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect. If used on a Battle Scar caused by an Unstabilized Injury, that Injury is Stabilized.
Your patient is required to not tell a direct lie (i.e. lying by omission and technical truths are fine) for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is a faint, yellow glimmer in your eye. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Riding the Ferry down the river Styx is a good time to think over your life, and throw off your mental shackles.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless the petient does nothing but travel down a river in the Ferry while sharing their trauma.. Over the course of one day, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired.
After the full treatment time has elapsed, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Rolling gives you I-Frames!
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Location which is at most 75 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically. If you are using this Effect as a Reaction, you must travel at least 10 feet. You must actively and obviously use Mifi's Obsidian rock to activate this Effect.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
When you use this Effect as a Reaction to dodge, if you Exert your Mind to activate the Effect, you do not need to roll; your dodge is automatically successful.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Wheezing.
Emily smiles softly, talking with the current subject of her fleeting interest. And as she does, she breathes in.
Some things, her biology can smell. Their path, the tiny bits of sweat and hair and oil they leave as they travel.
Some things, she can smell in a... different way. Some things, the Grail whispers to her. What they hunger for, what they lust for, and how they swim in these drowning waters.
So much is put into one's sweat - even their needs.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend a minute. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.
All it takes is a flick of your hair and a bat of your eyelashes, and you’ve got their attention.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. A number of Sapient, Living targets within 50 feet who can perceive you through no greater than your Charisma rating are affected. Audiences or mobs with a singular focus count as one target. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. All affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the targets will keep their full attention focused on you for Contested Outcome in Rounds. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you.
If you pass from their perception and they are unable to pursue you, the Effect ends. If they can follow you, they must do so for 2 Rounds or the Effect will end. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or violence occurs nearby.
This does not affect the target’s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you. Fascinated targets cannot Concentrate.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like. It takes at least 30 minutes before it is received.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
The musician assumes a powerful stance and strums a mighty power chord on their guitar. A blast of sound waves radiate outwards, destroying all who dare face the power chord directly.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use your instrument to activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of you immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of you with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. If you botched the activation roll, you will also take full Damage from the blast, otherwise it will not hurt you.

Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.

You may choose to use this Effect to temporarily relieve any number of the patient's Traumas (including mental Conditions). In this case, Treatment takes an Action and the effect lasts two hours. If the Patient is currently experiencing an episode, Difficulty is increased by 2.
