SilverHeartedWolf 5000 Subscriber Stream: Genwild Ancestry Test

The frizzy grey and brown haired woman pops back into frame, at the start of this special 5000 subscription event.

"Welcome everyone! To my five thousand subs special! So I'm going to fulfill a commonly asked for request! I contacted Genwild and got myself one of their ancestry kits and went through the process, and they basically went in and traced specific genetic traits back through the centuries. This includes my werewolf genetics!"

She pulls out a piece of paper, and begins to read from it.

"So I can't exactly show you all the whole thing for confidentiality reasons, massive bummer I know, but looking at this, it seems like the most prominent of my ancestry, the "important" bits, is native Inuit, which definitely explains my turned appearance of an Alaska Malamute. Another key chunk happens to be Irish! The greys are actually tied to my Irish werewolf heritage, potentially even the werewolves of Ossory." She accentuates the point by tugging on one of her greyish brown curls.

"So along with that they also sent me what basically amounts to a specialized set of pills that slowly provides matches for recessive genes that don't have a match, specifically ones for my werewolf traits. The container says that one of the earliest side effects is at will, more lucid transformations, so you all better keep watching for that as I go on this journey with all of you, as my scientific witnesses. In the wise words of the Myth Busters, "the difference between goofing off and science is recording it and presenting it to an audience of several thousand people". Thank you all so much for your support."

"That's going to be all for tonight, so this is Silver Hearted Wolf, signing off."

SilverHeartedWolf is Live! FAQ Stream

The stream sits at a static image, an icon of a silver human heart, for several minutes before the stream clicks on, revealing Charlotte, wearing a dark blue tee shirt with "The moon made me do it" written in silver, accompanied by an image of a torn up pair of shoes. The lights in her room are orange this time, contrasting nicely with the blue.

"Welcome everyone, back at you with probably the laziest stream I could think of, an FAQ stream! Over the months you all ask me a *lot* of questions, so I have taken it upon myself to answer a few of them for you!

"Question one, submitted by EvilErika, is "Why do you still transform monthly even if you're in a space where no moonlight can get to you?". Now this is a common misconception actually, that it's based solely on moonlight. Essentially, it works as a flag for our biological clocks to kickstart these changes. So if you lived in a place where you never got to experience a moon cycle, your shift wouldn't be based around the moon, but enough moonlight could probably force you into form regardless.

"Question two, submitted by RakishBenevelence, is "Do you have an allergy to silver?". No I actually don't! I was actually scared of the stuff when I was younger because I was afraid I would accidentally cut myself on a knife that was like, 5% silver, and die. But nope, I went and got tested. The only thing I'm like mildly allergic to, is cherries. They make my throat itchy. Which I'm pretty sure isn't a werewolf thing. Also in wolf form chocolate doesn't make me sick to my stomach, but it's not lethal.

"Final question, submitted by xxx_5uff3r1n6_xxx, is "have you considered looking into permanent hair removal options for your face?". And the answer is no actually. I like the way it looks, and I don't want to chance that hair missing in my different forms, even though I'm pretty sure it's a non-issue."

"Alright, that's all for today's stream, I hope to hear from you all again soon. Peace out!"

When a G Falls

SilverHeartedWolf Vibe Stream: Let’s Play RuneScape

The camera is black for the moment, no video feed connected. Audio is provided currently.

"Sorry guys, I'm still figuring out how to hook this up so you all could see my monitor. I can't believe that on an informational channel y'all wanted my 10,000 sub goal to be "play a video game"." The sounds of her struggling with wires and furious typing and clicking can still be heard on the microphone.

Another, robotic voice can be heard, a channel donation with a message attached. "It's like those Tik Tok videos with the mobile games overlayed with the video. We don't have the attention span to learn, put a family guy clip in the bottom corner."

She camera feed and screen share flicker on, as Charlotte finally figures out what's wrong and switches her screen to the game main menu screen. "No, no, I am not going to do that. You all will learn, if I have to beat you over the head with a textbook to ensure that, I will. Family Guy clips will only rot your brain so it's just destroying any information I cram into there. No, stop spamming the nerd emoji in chat, I'm not doing it. We are going to play some classic RuneScape and you will all thank me for it." The chat feed, obviously emboldened by her defiance, becomes a constant slew of nerd emojis. It's almost nobody ever taught the poor girl to never feed the trolls online. She continued to be a good sport about it though, laughing with her audience as she began the game.

SilverHeartedWolf History Stream: Werewolves and their Forms over History

The internet's favorite werewolf comes into frame, a night after the full moon, this time both her lights and her clothing are green, and she seems to be tired yet happy, rubbing her temples as the stream comes to life.

"Hey guys, welcome back. Sorry in advance if I seem tired, it's been a rough night. So anyways: werewolves. They're sometimes people with dog ears, sometimes man beast hybrids, sometimes just animals. So what's up with that? Well I've looked into it, and there doesn't seem to be a good answer. Through out most of historical accounts I've read through, I've found werewolves in particular being described as, or more importantly, the historical grouping factor of these accounts are always "man that turns into a wolf". So I've done a little digging, and the earliest I can find about things that might be werewolves but not just regular wolves is when french author Henri Pouratt in the 1940's describes a series of attacks on livestock in 1764 in French Gévudan.

"Now I won't go into the boring details on this man's probably partially fictional telling of the events, but there are two things to note here. One, the creature or creatures attacking livestock were characterized as "like a wolf, but not a wolf", and they were weak to silver. My theory? Somewhere around this time there was a mutation in the dna of a colony of werewolves, or maybe they interbred with some other species, that turned "werewolves" into a species of sometimes human, sometimes wolf, into a transformation with a huge variety of body shapes. I apparently didn't get this mystery gene though, so I'm just I big ole dog."

UmbraLupis: Night Terrors

The stream shows only a desktop, open to a paint application. The application starts moving, giving a base humanoid shape. It's hunched over, with long limbs, and an open muzzle for a maw. The voice coming over the microphone is soft, tired, and small. It's almost scared to the more emotionally adept viewers.

"Hey guys. I think it's finally time I did this, make a twitch channel. To discuss how I feel. Separated from who I am anywhere else. So hi. You don't know me, and I prefer it stays that way." She refines the shape, going for something like a cross between a human and a wolf. She hesitates for a moment before reworking the head into being more human than canine. She then works on the colors, greys and browns and silvers. Red. Blood spatter on the face. Dripping from the teeth. Face contorted in a mix of rage and terror. Blood on the claws. Being slung across the frame.

"I've been having night terrors recently. It was the last straw in my declining mental health to where I realized I needed to do something before... I don't know, I went insane, which I might have already. The thought that I'm already insane and I just can't tell is terrifying. So I'm working on trying to keep my mind in check." She says, adding a swirling cloud of purple and silver mists around the figure, and added a second figure, foxlike and bleeding on the ground under the wolf.

"I'll dream that I'm a horrible monster. That I caused the hurt that everyone around me was feeling. And in a way, I guess I've convinced myself that it was true. I just hurt everyone around me. Even when I'm trying to help. Even when when I'm trying to save my entire world. But no. I can only hurt." She says, finishing the background, a forest before sunset, a beautiful setting against the terrible bloodshed. Then, final shading and detailing. She leaves that lingering as the last image on the screen, sitting in silence until it clicks off.
