Legacy Power: Poke's Gift

"Well what the hell are we supposed to do now?"

Reuben stared down at the stump where his leg used to be. He remember the Kraken chewing on him and put his hand over the beak mark still embedded in his chest.

"S'pose I gotta reach me some crutches, figure out how to get. Won't be doing much travel for a bit, reckon"

Poke gurgled and slid down to the Reuben's side.

"Yeah, I know Poke, damn shame huh?"

The creature began to shift and stretch its obsidian flesh, morphing and meshing with the stub of Reuben's leg. Reuben starred transfixed. Over the next month Poke continued to work, a few hours a day, building and molding its flesh onto the flesh of its caretaker. In time, a grotesque limb of ink black mottled flesh oozed into place and Reuben took his first steps on his new leg.

Description

Poke has headed the call of the traveler and taken on a more active role.

As long as Reuben has the bag, Poke will extend an appendage down to grant Reuben the ability to walk once more. The appendage only operates if poke is nearby, but does not need to be actively touching the Traveler.

System

This Power is passive and always in effect. Bonuses to Attributes and Abilities take the form of additional dice on the relevant rolls and do not affect Experience costs. As always, bonuses to the same dice pool from multiple sources do not stack, and the largest bonus is used.


Enhancements

  • Synthetic (Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.)
  • Persistent Augment (Your extra appendage, if destroyed/damaged, can be re-grown, re-created, or re-built, depending on its flavor. Requires one downtime to return completely back to normal.)
  • Extra Appendage (You have a functional extra appendage that works as well as an ordinary arm and hand.)
  • No Bleed (Existing Injuries do not require stabilization or degrade over time.)

Drawbacks

  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - This is not conditional it is unique item. So na na na NA na
  • Inhuman Biology (Your biological structure renders traditional medical technology ineffective.)
  • Monstrous (Possessing this Power causes a mutation that elicits a strong, negative social response from the average person in your setting. The mutation is visible even if you are wearing long sleeves, pants, and shoes. Maximum one per Contractor.)
