Description

Sowdiebop was always one to be abnormally energetic. So, what happens when you put some caffeine in his beverage? This. When he drinks a sowdie, he shakes around like Jerry after some milk and moves faster than he ever thought he could- about 4 times as fast. His entire speeds up and allows him to sprint extraordinarily quickly, as well as hop over and climb over and roll under- or through- obstacles. However, he crashes at the end and has to lay down, immobile for the next minute or so. He can still talk, but he'll be out of it for a hot minute.

System

Spend an Action and Exert your Mind. You can run [[speed-multiplier]] your normal speed for 1 Minute. Any penalty from Encumbrance still applies.

While this Power is active, you do not suffer any sort of exhaustion. Avoiding unexpected obstacles requires a Dexterity + Athletics roll.

Enhancements

  • Parkour (Your super speed affects all kinds of movement, not just running, and you may ignore small obstacles.)

Drawbacks

  • Collapse (If you go a round without using your Movement, you immediately collapse and must remain immobile and resting for the same duration of time you previously spent moving.)
  • Fuel (Using this Effect consumes some material good in addition to its other costs.)
