Janet Parker's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

I live where I can’t be found easily. I’ve lived all over the country. Right now, I’m living in New York, but I don’t know how long. I need to leave soon, but I don’t when. Just that once he and his flock find me, everything needs to go and so do I.

New York has been…nice? Definitely, not decent, but at least I have a bed and a roof over my head. I just need to ignore the gun shots and; the rats and cockroaches aren’t my favourite. But I remember watching the rats in the basement when I was a child. Now I know what diseases they have. I would love to have a pet rat, but with moving so much, I don’t know if I’ll be able to ever keep one.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

I mostly work on and off, part time. Finding work wherever I can at fast food restaurants, as a dishwasher, cleaning staff, barista, line cook.

I try to make clean money.

Normally, people wouldn’t trust a stranger to look after their kids, but luckily for me, poorer areas don’t really give a damn who cares for their children as long as you’re cheap and not going to lead to killing their kids. So sometimes I baby sit. I also walk dogs and house sit when I can. A warm bed and free food? Fuck, yes, please.

But hey, money is money.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Survival mostly. Anything to get far away from my father and his cult.

I want to be stronger but I don’t know how to do it. I feel weak but I like to think that I’m getting stronger the more I do contracts. But this one almost got me killed. And I’m worried that those around me will be haunted when he comes for my body and soul.

if I’m able, I want to free my soul before I die. I need to become stronger, and if that means becoming a demon, then maybe that’s what I have to do.

any one from my old cult that dares to get in my way, I won’t hesitate to kill. I hope they find their salvation; just don’t drag me into it. Or else I will have no choice to be what they want and show them a fury of great fire. Death will await them.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Something came over my mother though I don’t know what. She came into my room and scooped me up into her arms. She walked through a sacrificial circles, blood dripping for the ceiling, loud chanting from every dark corner, and her father in a demonic form—centre of it all.

fear takes over and I started crying, screaming and trying to run away. My mother let me run before she was violently shoved into the centre and torn apart before my eyes. As a child, I didn’t understand what was happening, other than that my mother was dying and my father was their ring leader. He left me, attention turning to my mother instead. And though I didn’t understand it as a child, he “devoured her.”

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Janet Parker is the alliance that I am currently going by. I will not reveal my true name as it is important to me. No one but me must know.

I used to be close to my blood-father. I didn’t know how important he was; just that he was something to all the people that followed him. He called me his little princess and I was treated as such.

My mother was very gentle with me, though she always seemed tired and weak. she would tuck me in and sleep by my side until I fell asleep and then returned to her duties, whatever that was.

my closest friend, I guess, is a man that I met at my local coffee shop. His name is Danny. Sometimes we spend the night together. He’s sweet enough and his bed is nice to sleep in when nights are cold; but things won’t last. So I keep my distance and leave before he ever wakes up.
