Solfried's Questionnaire

Solfried was born in a lab hidden somewhere in King William’s land, in the arctic circle. He escaped his creators and was able to flee until he came across a small Inuit tribe which took him in. These Inuit nursed Solfried back to health, and helped him get back to the mainland. He was declared a citizen by the Inuit, which helped Solfried gain Canadian citizenship.

He joined a program when he was 7 where he found a host family that helped him become acclimated to living in regular society, after learning about technology and all of these wondrous gadgets, Solfried became obsessed. He started documenting his journey learning about the world and he gained a large internet following. That blossomed even more once he started in Esports, and has led to him being recognized as one of the faces of the game he plays.

I earn my money by posting on social media, taking partnership deals, and winning esports tournaments. I spend most of my money on donations and gaming equipment, after all my needs have been paid for. My online following has garnered me a comfortable lifestyle, but I am not living in lavish wealth.

Recently though, Solfried has been spending a lot of money on research into some of the things that were done to him at that lab he was born in. He wants to know why he was there, even if he feels normal. 

Solfried dreams of being able to afford a flight to space. Somehow he’s even more enamored by what’s up there, than he is by what’s new around him down here.

Solfried has many ambitions; chiefly, he wants answers. He has so many questions. How was he made? Why was he made? What did they do to make him different? How was he able to escape at such a young age? Why doesn’t he remember the escape? Why did the Inuit take him in? 
It’s too late to answer a lot of those questions, but those are just a few that still haunt him. Solfried is prepared to face death or damnation to have those questions answered. Even if it means relying on a higher power.

Solfried harbors a plethora of ambitions, with his foremost desire being the quest for answers that have eluded him for so long. Interwoven within his essence are countless inquiries that echo through his thoughts relentlessly. The origins of his creation, the purpose behind it, the enigma of his distinctiveness, and the circumstances enabling his precocious escape overshadow his consciousness. Mystified about the blankness shrouding his escape from captivity and the benevolence of the Inuit who offered sanctuary, Solfried remains haunted by these persistent queries. Determined and resolute, he is willing to confront mortality or eternal damnation to lay these enigmas to rest, even if it involves surrendering to a transcendent force.

Solfried had some really big moments that totally changed his life:

First, he made a daring escape from the lab where he was created. It was a super brave move that freed him from being trapped and tested on.

Then, the Inuit community welcomed him with open arms. That acceptance meant the world to him and gave him a sense of belonging.

When he met his new family in Canada, it was a game-changer. They helped him become a Canadian citizen, giving him a new identity and home.

Discovering video games and tech was mind-blowing for Solfried. He found a new hobby that he loved and that sparked his imagination.

Becoming a pro esports player was like a dream come true for Solfried. He got really good at it and found success in the competitive gaming world. Each of these moments had a huge impact on Solfried's life, showing his strength, ability to adapt, and his journey of self-discovery.

Solfried's inner circle consisted of three key figures who held significant roles in his life:

First off, his adoptive mother, Lilly, was more than just a host mom to him during his crucial years from 9 to 18. Lilly's unwavering support and care gave Solfried a sense of family and stability during pivotal developmental stages, shaping his values and outlook on life.

His best friend, Stefan, held the position of captain on their elite esports squad, "Team Eclipse." Their shared passion for competitive gaming not only fueled Solfried's drive but also solidified a friendship based on mutual respect and a shared pursuit of excellence.

In a surprising turn of events, Solfried's boyfriend, Alexei, entered his life through the realm of esports. Meeting as opponents in a tournament, Alexei's subsequent outreach to Solfried via direct messages sparked a connection that evolved beyond gaming rivals into a genuine romantic relationship.
