Christopher Epps's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Chicago, because it's easy to find work and get lost in. Due to the curse of the Fae, he hops from hotel to hotel. He can mostly be found in Cheap hotels around the Chicagoland area and is kept to do the hotel equivalent of a dine-and-dash. He alternates which train he takes to the main area on a roll of the dice, as using the law of chance may distract the Fae. Due to this, he makes sure anything he needs is in one backpack. He sometimes takes round-trip train rides to serve the area before he touches down anywhere.  While he is not a fan of this ritual, it beats the alternative of whatever death-defying torture the fae will give him.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Currently, Chris takes odd jobs from the local magical underworld at local bars, as doing his regular con jobs doesn't cut it for him anymore. It's not like he doesn't like the idea of having money, but these days he needs wards. These wards will protect him from the faes watch for as long as they are effective.  However, due to the strength of his curse, they only last him a week at the most. This has left him as the magic equivalent of Mike Rowe, taking any and all contracts. However, he will steal from his employers if he needs to. Or just to keep the gears going.  Or maybe when he's bored.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

His ambition is to be free from everything. Free from the pain and poverty that haunted him before his eyes were opened. Free from the constraints put on him by society, and free from the curse that the Fae put on him for the simple crime of being curious.  Free from the looks of disdain that the people give him. Freedom to learn all he wants.  The freedom of true peace.  He's not a maniac or Jagerist who wishes to kill the world to make that happen, but you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs... or spilling your blood.  If he could leave his humanity behind, he may not...like it, but sometimes he wondered if it might be needed. After all, who would miss a con man like him?
