Peter "Pip" Yarrow's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Pip was born and raised in Columbus and didn't see a point in leaving the city. His family their "psychic" shop and his life are there. Pip comes from a nicer part of Colombus (North Linden) but ever since he dropped out he has lived in an apartment complex in South Linden. The apartment is not a nice place visually to live but is cheap, and the land owner is nice despite the struggle with payments and bills being thrown at the apartment complex. Pip's apartment is filled with the basics a stove top burner, a semi-functional washing machine that may or may not eat your socks, and an old TV that has a VHS reader built in. He does take care of the apartment though and those who visit Pip will see small potted plants and some pictures hung up on adhesive hooks. It may not be a lot for Pip but it is home.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Pip has a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, it was his friend's parents' car but they gave it to him for a good price. It is also his main source of income as Pip is currently an Uber driver, a delivery service, or any small freelance job he can pick up to make income. He did try to write stories for a magazine publisher but it did not work out so he is currently looking for better options to support himself. Peter usually spends his money on mostly food and rent, however, he does save a bit here and there for games or books to entertain himself while he is not working.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

There are a lot of things that go on in the world now ever since illuminated were discovered or made public. While his friends are always skeptical on the whole subject or view all forms of illumination as dangerous Pip is curious about such things. He feels a draw to it every so often although that can be chalked up to the natural curiosity of a human. I think the farthest that Pip would go to fulfill this curiosity is small crimes like trespassing or even theft of some items or documents. He is however human, a normal one at that and he doesn't want to cause any harm to anyone if it isn't for self-defense. He wouldn't get too close to death knowingly however if pip isn't aware of the possible dangers there is no telling where he would draw the line of safety.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Flashback to the midsemester of college Pip was doing great. He was doing a really good job in his creative writing classes and it seems like he had at least a grasp on story structures. If one would read Pip's old stories it would be like he was there living the story, which varied from genre to genre, sometimes it was a story of "superheroes" fighting with strange powers in other cities, or even sometimes a mythical creature trying to bring down a group of adventures. The inspiration was just something that would flash in Pip's mind, only for a few seconds and not always a full picture.

It was like someone was sending him these moments, or they were finding their way to him to be written down. However this gift was not always what it was cracked up to be, during the final period of class Pip got an image of something walking past a group of students in the hallway, lingering over a fellow student. It was like a dark depression was living right in front of him, when the creature went to strike a friend of his he tried to intervene, or at least he thought he did. What happened was Pip tackled his friend down causing a small fight to break out, after that no one treated him normally again, and Pip lost his friends being pushed aside by others as the "weird kid". He went into a small depression and his grades started to slip later he dropped out.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Pennelope Throppe (The one he is closest to): A kind old lady darker complexion and salt and pepper hair who wears dresses with flowers. His Neighbor, is always taking in people who need help and it is how he found the apartment in the first place. He visits her every so often and brings over food so they can sit and chat.

Jerimiah Banks: The landlord, he is a hardass and doesn't let people push him around, he has given Pip a few tasks to do every so often for some money and it is who gave him his nickname Pip since at this time Pip was a bit quiet around others. I think Pip sees Mr. Banks as a role model of what kind of person you should be. He usually wears Hawaiian shirts and has a combover. You can always tell he is near by the smell of cigars.

Jackie Throppe: Another neighbor around Pip's age. She is Pennelopes granddaughter. She is okay in the eyes of Pip they get along when she visits her Grandmother but outside of that, they do not talk as much as friends would. Her style is more comfy clothing with a Varsity track jacket for Ohio university.
