"I live only in the greatest place of all time: The Spiral Estate! It is a glorious palace, belonging to the one and only, shining golden bastion of Goodness himself, Emperor Magadori! It is almost akin to a town, with everything the Emperor needs, and then some! There are pleasantly paved roads, dotted with beautiful cherry blossom trees, and gorgeous houses filled with friendly servants and merchants and locals, all safe and secure under the ever watchful protection of the Emperor's staff.

I live here because I am training to be one of the Emperor's finest samurai! I live upon the grounds, in a soldier's barracks within the inner grounds of the Spiral Estate itself! It is only the highest honor to treat upon Emperor Magadori's home grounds, and I would never willingly choose any other residence!"

"As stated prior, I am currently training to become a samurai serving under his holy shining power, Emperor Magadori! I receive a modest soldier's pay for my time and effort, and I put my all into it! When I am not performing my training, I perform other necessary activities as parts of being part of the Emperor's guard, such as patrols and dealing with unruly visitors!

And when not on duty, I like to perform my own personal upkeep routines! I exercise frequently, and particularly enjoy the rigors of going on runs. My best time takes me through a portion of the woods around the palace in only six minutes flat! I also verily enjoy camping, finding the wilderness good for stabilizing my thoughts and emotions..."

I shall stop at nothing for his righteous mission. I would slay a thousand of his enemies, give myself upon the sacrificial pyre a thousand times, achieve the impossible over and over and over again to advance his desires even the smallest bit.

That is what true ambition and purpose is! That is what it means to be a Samurai! To follow Bushido! I am his fervent will, and all the evildoers in the world shall tremble at the thought of Kimakuro Kawayama coming to extract her Emperor's divine will from their very beings!"

"Surely you see the sheathe upon my hip. Within it contains what can only be called the holiest of relics, a physical manifestation of the will of Bushido itself.

Her name is Star-Slicing Holy Resolution. It is her arrival that changed my life.

Before her, I was destined to be naught but a faceless soldier. And, simply, to exact my Emperor's will in such a way would have been enough to satisfy a simple person such as myself. However, it seems that my devotion was not satisfied with mediocrity.

It was one day when I awoke, and found her holy form embedded into my floor, just inches away from my sleeping face. I know not who left her, nor how she came to me. But I know one thing:

The Star-Slicing Holy Resolution is more than just a blade. She appears to those who desire the will of Bushido above all else. Those who encapsulate Bushido, who are pure in heart and intent, who can do more than just live out the tenets. She is for solely those like me, who are more Bushido than woman! Hehehe.

First and foremost is obviously Emperor Magadori. He is the always wise, always just, always fair, and always intelligent Emperor that presides over the Spiral Estate and the Magadori clan. All those upon these sacred grounds are under his watchful gaze, his encompassing protection, and for that, we thank him! I bow my knee at merely the thought of him.

Second shall be my master. His name is Master Eitsuji, and he has done well with his trainings. Even when I was naught but a young girl, training solely as a soldier, he saw a spark within me. He trained me in the ways of the sword, and I hold his teachings very near and dear to my heart. Master has always been patient with me, even when I was a rambunctious and rebellious child, and it is thanks to him that I even hold the teachings of Bushido so dearly!

And, finally... I suppose the third shall be my mother, Kaede Kawayama. I am sad to say we are not close. I have heard many draw on familial ties, but I am not one of them. I understand I was a problematic child, but... mmm. It was her who turned me over to the Emperor's soldiers, to be trained in his guard, and it is here I found my calling. But... but a child does not always know their calling, and my mother surely did not know that either.
