Orion Stells's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Orion Stells lives in his old childhood home. It's a rundown shack which used to have a little farm connected to it. The farm and house are both empty now, devoid of life besides Orion. He claims to live there 'Because it's home.' Its quite messy on the inside, trash and pests everywhere, not to mention a suspicious amount of bones. Don't open the locked bedroom, ever.

Meanwhile, the town surrounding the homestead is just as silent. No inhabitants besides simple vermin. Because of such, the buildings are also in disrepair. Occasionally, a clue of what happened here might be found, a human bone here, a sign of violent struggle there. Maybe some things are better unknown.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

When in need of cash or supplies, Orion has to travel out of town. With the help of his rusty old truck, which miraculously holds onto dear life, he drives to other towns. He often takes with him some animals he hunted and sells them to local butchers. Other times he may steal cash and such from an unsuspecting passerby. And very often he scrounges dumpsters and other waste areas for anything he finds appealing.

Most of his cash goes into survival supplies, keeping him clothed, and keeping his home and truck in 'functioning' order. Most of the time, he can manage to eat without buying much food.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Orion strives to hunt. To chase prey. See it run in fear for it's life. To kill. See the life drain from it's eyes. See the power he wields over it. Taste its blood. Have it's flesh become part of you. In death, he sees the prey as becoming part of something greater, life. The thrill of it invigorates him. The adrenaline flowing through his veins. He strives to become stronger, faster, deadlier. A true predator who strikes fear into all would be prey. He sees this as a wonderous thing. A tradition to be shared and loved by all. And so he hunts. He chases. He kills. He eats. And he wishes to share this ideology with the world.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

One day, Orion was returning from one of the hunting trips he did as a young teen, coming back with a haul to help feed his family. A deer and a couple rabbits. Soon after, he began to skin them and cut out the meat for later. The house smelled of blood, and his mother was out shopping for ingredients for tonight's stew. It didn't take long to finish and store the leftovers. His mother got home soon and began the broth.

His father didn't like how bloody the house smelled whenever Orion came home. He had been drinking all day rather than supporting his family. He marched up into the kitchen, pissed. Orion's mother took one glance at her husband and was already fearing the worst. In but a moment, she was on the ground, covered head to toe in hot broth. Orion's eyes filled with anger, and his fist slammed against his father.

"You little...!" Is the last thing Orion heard before feeling a blunt pain on his head. And another. And another. And another. Orion's head spun, his heart pounded. He hated the way he treated her. He grabbed for anything nearby. A familiar handle. He swung, and heard a wet croaking. The smell of blood was getting stronger. It made it hard to think, but it felt good. To smell, taste, consume. To hear the life drain from him.

He laughed, and the hunt began.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Mrs. Stells: Orion's mother. A lovley old woman living with the degradation of her husbands mental state, somehow still seeing some sort of good in him. Orion remembers the way she would sing. He wishes he could cook like she did.

Mr. Stells: Orion's father. A man who turned to alcoholism after being fired from his old job as a police officer, due to problematic anger issues. He often takes his anger out on the rest of his family, mainly Orion. He hates how Orion smells like blood after a hunting trip.

Ellie Stells: Orion's sister. She left home a while ago. He doesn't remember much about her. She was nice, loved to draw. that was something they did together a lot. Orion still ahs some of her drawings of animals and landscapes. She couldn't stand her mother's decision to stay with the man who made their lives hell. She's still out there somewhere.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

Orion grew up on a run down farm just outside of town with his Mother, Father, and Sister. He had to learn how to hunt and survive at an early age so he could provide food for his family. Otherwise, he'd enjoy his time in nature, and drawing with his sister.

His mother was a kind old lady, who had grew up on this farm. However, as she aged, she could no longer handle the maintenance required. Her husband never helped with the farm either.

His father was a violent drunkard of a man, who used to work as a police officer. He was fired for being unable to handle his anger issues, and for brutally injuring an innocent man.

Education wasn't much of an option for the Stells, both due to location and money.

Orion did have decent repor with the locals, selling portions of his hauls, and overall being a helpful fellow.

7. Have you ever been in love? With who? What happened? If not, why not?

Orion did meet one girl who he fancied, Paisley. He didn't know her long. She was much more wealthy than Orion, and Her father didn't like the 'common rabble' that Orion was, thinking that he was an awful influence. Despite this, Orion brought her his attempts at venison jerky. She actually liked it, much more exciting than the bland food she was used to. And so Orion would visit on occasion with the same gift.

Sadly, this did not make her exempt from Orion's sudden mental break. She was one of the first. At least it was mostly painless physically, but mentally, it hurt like hell.
